The diversity is their strength, when this come to a balance point, it crystallize in a project definition. Intuition and rationality, are the characteristic that distinguish her and his creative approach. Their products aim to satisfy two conflicting quality: industrial innovation and emotional impact. Their works go from the Furniture Design to Industrial design, to the Interior Concept and Architecture. They just finished their first architectural Residential project for a private villa and the concept for the Augusta Westland’s new VIP helicopters. They actually work for various relevant international company, including Jesse, Living Divani, Lema Mobili, Miniforms, Fiam Italia, Frag; Glass Idromassaggio,DeLonghi. Some of their products also received some important awards like: “Young & Design” and “IMM interior innovation”. Massimiliano Mornati Massimiliano Mornati, architect, was born in Como in 1970; after working in various architectural firms in Rotterdam, Berlin and Milan he opened, in collaboration with Laura Valeria Consonni, their own studio in Brianza, specialized in architecture, furniture design. Alongside the project activity, Massimiliano teaches at the Politecnico di Milano. Since 2006, in Jesse, he coordinates the development of new collections and Milan Design Week’s stand design. Furthermore, Jesse factory showroom’s layout is done by his design studio. Lievore Altherr Molina The Lievore Altherr Molina studio was created in 1991 by the merging of its three partners: Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. Since its founding, the studio has been devoted to product design, consulting and the art direction of various companies, always offering individualised solutions. Throughout the years the studio has been recognised for its furniture design, its interior design projects, its products, and packaging. Simultaneously, the studio has developed an intense teaching practice, giving seminars and training courses to new professionals at various Spanish universities and other organisations. The studio has been awarded many national and international awards, including Spain’s National Design Award in 1999. Lievore Altherr Molina has exhibited their work in Barcelona, Cologne, Chicago, Stockholm, Helsinki, Lisbon, London, Lousiana, Madrid, Malmö, Milan, New York, Paris and Tokyo. Their ideas and projects are regularly published in the most prestigious design magazines around the world. Philippe Bestenheider Born 1971 in Sion, Switzerland, Philippe Bestenheider has a degree in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He has worked for studios both in Switzerland and in the US. In the year 2000 he obtained a Masters degree in industrial design from the Domus Academy in Milan, where he later was invited to teach. From 2001 to 2006 he was Senior Designer in Patricia Urquiola’s office in Milan. In 2006 he is invited to take part to the Promosedia exhibit. In 2007 he opens his own studio, working between Switzerland and Milan. In June 2010 he receives the Italian national award for innovation “premio dei premi” for the chair Nanook he has designed for Moroso. He is designing for Moroso, de Sede, Pallucco, Fratelli Boffi, Varaschin, Frag, Area Declic and Nilufar Gallery. Lucidi e Pevere Graduated at the Politecnico di Milano in Industrial Design. They collaborated with important design studios in Milan working directly on projects for many companies such as American Standard Europe, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Zerodisegno, Magis and Dainese. They designed for many companies operating in different fields such as furniture, lighting, tableware, bathroom and others. They collaborate with companies from different countries and cultures; some of the brands they work with are Gebrüder Tonet Vienna, Very Wood, Living Divani, Ligne Roset, Casamania, DeCastelli, Foscarini, Glass Idromassaggio, Normann Copenhagen, Comforty, Kristalia, Fiam. Sergio Brioschi Sergio Brioschi was born in Milan in 1960. In 1977 he obtained a high-school Diploma in Arts (Diploma di maturità artistica) at the II° Liceo Artistico di Brera of Milan, and in 1979 he took a Degree in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design. Between 1981 and 1984 he worked at the Studio of architect Mario Bellini. Between 1985 and 1994 he worked at the Studio of architect Antonio Citterio, supervising product design projects and the setting up of exhibit stands and spaces. In 1994 he established his own architectural firm in Milan, where he has since worked full time. Since then he has worked jointly with architect Antonio Citterio in the industry of bathroom suites, furniture and accessories, designing and creating products for Pozzi-Ginori, Keramag, Albatros, and Inda. Mario Ferrarini Mario Ferrarini, born in Como in 1978, studied Industrial Design at the at the Design Department of the Milan Polytechnic. Since 2004, he started consulting for some of the leading international design and architecture studios in product development, exhibition and interior design. He received several awards, among them the competition Idee per la Luce in 2004, the Cristalplant Design Contest, in partnership with Antonio Lupi, in addition to participating in various events and exhibitions.
