TROFEO CALIANDRO is one of the greatest and most fascinating show of
dobermann in Italy and in the whole world. The show was organized to create a
Trophy in order to celebrate the memory of a great breeder, died some years
ago: Mr. Piero Caliandro, one of the first and most important breeders in Italy,
the creator of DI VILLA CASTELLI kennel. He was breeder of many important and
titled dogs, we can remember not only CH.ICARO DI VILLA CASTELLI &
CH.NAVARRE DI VILLA CASTELLI, but also the famous CITO & CAIENNA DI VILLA
CASTELLI from which was born ELISIR DI CAMPOVALANO and later the whole
history of the Italian and European dobermann!!!!
The edition of 2010 will be the 12th edition of this important contest in which it
is also possible to see every year the Champions Parade with the most beautiful
and titled Italian and also European dobermanns.
But first of all, TROFEO CALIANDRO gives name to the trophy that every year is given to the BEST KENNEL GROUP, and
starting from this idea, this show is become step by step an important moment to check the work made by all Italian
breeders during the year.

The BREEDER GROUP must be formed by dogs from the same kennel name and the same colour. Each breeder will be able
to present, in any case, 2 groups of different colours. TROFEO PIERO CALIANDRO will be assigned To the best Breeder
group and it will remain definitively at the breeder who will win it for at least 3 times.
