PROFILE SUMMARY Gianpaolo Abatecola is a Senior Research Fellow (equivalent to Senior Assistant Professor) in Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, from which he earned a Degree (laurea) in Business Administration (Supervisor Prof. Roberto Cafferata) and a PhD. in Management and Organizational Behavior. He then served the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa as a post-doc scholar. The various outlets of his research currently count 19 authored (or co-authored) articles in peerreviewed journals (12 hits in international and 7 hits in national), 1 book monograph, 2 co-edited books, 1 co-edited journal special issue, and 8 authored (or co-authored) chapters in edited books. In particular, Dr. Abatecola has published in the following “4” and “3” ranked journals (ANVUR, 2012): European Management Journal (4, single authored), Futures (4, single authored), Corporate Governance (3, co-authored), International Journal of Management (3, co-authored), Journal of Management and Governance (3, co-authored), Journal of Management History (3, co-authored). Also, he is currently co-guest editing a special issue of the Journal Management and Governance about “Organizational Evolution. Darwinism, Environmental Fit, and Survival”. At Tor Vergata, Dr. Abatecola currently teaches: 1.
