Il Grand Hotel Minareto nasce su un promontorio che trae
dalla lirica delle proprie bellezze naturalistiche e dal potere
carismatico della storia la fierezza di ergersi innanzi all’isola di Ortigia,
capolavoro di arte e storia, patrimonio dell’UNESCO. Si narra che è
proprio su questa altura, circondata dal mare, e dominata dall’imponente
Faro Rosso, che Archimede abbia posizionato gli specchi ustori per
bruciare la flotta Romana, e difendere così Siracusa dall’assedio del
console Marco Claudio Marcello. Ancora oggi i due capi del golfo si
specchiano l’uno nell’altro svelando il loro secolare e mistico fascino.
Il Grand Hotel Minareto si estende su un’area di 25.000 mq, all’interno
dell’oasi protetta del Plemmirio ed in totale armonia con l’ambiente,

The Grand Hotel Minareto was born on a promontory which draws
from the poetry of its natural beauty and the power of the charismatic
history of the pride stand in front of the island of Ortigia, a masterpiece
of art and history, heritage of UNESCO. It is said that it is precisely on
this hill, surrounded by the sea, and dominated by Red Lighthouse,
where the scientist Archimede positioned the ustori mirrors to burn the
