REFERNET
• Reporting on information on the
development of educational and vocational
policies in our Country, with particular
reference to objectives and priorities
established at UE level (Policy Report)
• Regular updating data and the dynamics of
the system of the national VET system (VET in
Europe - Country Report and Spotlight)
• Implementing with national contributions the
VET- Bib, the largest collection of vocational
education and training (VET) literature in
Europe
• Disseminating national studies and research
carried out by Cedefop and contributing to
the debate with analysis and news on topics
of European interest
• Animating the network of ReferNet National
Consortia and promoting partnership activities
also via the of dedicated web pages and the
ReferNet Italia Newsletter.

Isfol, Institute for the Development of
Vocational Training of Workers, is a public
research institute operating in the field of
training, employment and social policies.
Among its tasks, Isfol is the leading partner for
Italy’s ReferNet Programme and Coordinator
of the National Consortium, thus ensuring the
sound implementation and valorisation of the
Programme activities.

ReferNet is a European network of institutions
created by Cedefop – Centre for the
Development of Vocational Training - in 2002
to provide information on national vocational
education and training (VET) systems and
policies.
The network provides an authoritative forum
for the exchange of information on the
progress of national VET systems, as well
as on the progress of relevant research and
technical and scientific literature.
