Intellimag pro-tile is the innovative
WMS active management system
for warehousing and logistic flows
specifically developed for ceramic companies. Based on GPS&RTLS
technology, it tracks the movement and location of each individual pallet from the production
zone exit through to the preparation, covered storage and yard areas, then on to shipping. Each pallet truck (new or used) is equipped
with a GPS system with 2 cm precision, presence and height sensors
mounted on the forks, and an FGS
3D (Forklift Guidance System)
monitor that guides the driver using augmented reality as if it were
an LGV but without the need to
build Laser or RFID detection infrastructures. After a preliminary identification of the pallets leaving the
production department (article,
quantity, choice, tone, calibre,
etc.), the truck operator performs
pick-up, movement and guided
deposit movements. The system
automatically detects the location of each pallet in error-free, full
Auto-ID mode without the need to
read barcodes or RFID tags
but using exclusively the absolute spatial coordinates (virtual tags) detected by the GPS.
The “active management”
(system scheduler) and the
core GPS software set Intellimag pro-tile apart from all conventional WMS systems. The
system continuously and autonomously recalculates and
decides the work to be assigned to all warehouse resources (trucks and opera-
tors), indicating to each of them
the shortest path, the most convenient product and the most suitable mission. This optimises resource efficiency regardless of
experience and with system learning times of just a few hours. Simply
by setting the “active management” parameters (roles, tasks,
skills of resources and availability of
equipment), the logistics manager
is able to oversee the system without having to organise the work of
the truck operators. With just a few
mouse clicks, Intellimag pro-tile recalculates the operations and
sends orders automatically to
each individual operative. The
warehouse is fully tracked and supervised via the 3D graphic map,
while occupation and spaces are
optimised. Thanks to the KPI instrument panels, the logistical capacity of the plants is kept constantly
under control. This results in up to
50% higher efficiency and complete reorganisation of the logistics
and warehouse department to
achieve consistently and measurably high levels of performance.

ceramiche. Basato su tecnologia
GPS&RTLS, traccia lo spostamento e
l’ubicazione di ogni singolo pallet
dall’uscita dalla produzione, aree di
preparazione, stoccaggio coperto o
piazzali, fino alla spedizione. Ogni
carrello (nuovo o usato) viene equipaggiato con un sistema GPS di precisione 2 cm, sensori di presenza e
altezza montati sulle forche e un
monitor FGS 3D (Forklift Guidance
System) che guida il carrellista in
“realtà aumentata” come se fosse
un LGV, ma senza la necessità di costruire infrastrutture di rilevazione
Laser o Rfid. Dopo una prima identificazione dei pallet in uscita dalla
produzione (articolo, quantità, scelta, tono, calibro, ecc.), il carrellista
esegue movimenti di presa, spostamento e scarico “guidato”. Il sistema rileva automaticamente e senza
errori l’ubicazione di ogni pallet in
completa autoidentificazione (Auto-ID), senza necessità di letture
barcode o Tag Rfid, utilizzando
esclusivamente le coordinate assolute nello spazio (virtual-Tag) rilevate dal GPS. La “regia attiva” (schedulatore del sistema) e il GPS,
cuore del software, distinguono Intellimag pro-tile da tutti i sistemi
WMS tradizionali. La soluzione, infatti, ricalcola continuamente e decide in autonomia il lavoro da assegnare a tutte le risorse di magazzino
(carrelli e uomini), ordinando a ciascuno il percorso più breve, il prodotto più comodo, la missione più
adatta. Ogni risorsa diventa efficiente, indipendentemente dalla
propria esperienza e con tempi di
apprendimento del sistema di poche ore. Il responsabile della logistica diventa quindi il regista del sistema senza dover più organizzare
il lavoro delle proprie maestranze,
ma semplicemente regolando i parametri della “regia attiva” (ruoli,
mansioni, attitudini delle proprie
risorse, disponibilità di mezzi). Con
pochi clic, e nel giro di qualche secondo, Intellimag pro-tile ricalcola
il lavoro di ognuno e impartisce automaticamente gli ordini a ogni singola risorsa disponibile. Il magazzino è totalmente tracciato,
sotto controllo con la Mappa grafica 3D, l’occupazione e gli spazi sono utilizzati
al meglio. Grazie ai cruscotti KPI la capacità logistica
degli impianti è sempre sotto controllo. I risultati si traducono in maggior efficienza (fino al 50%) e completa
riorganizzazione del reparto logistico e di magazzino
verso performance elevate,
costanti e misurabili.

garantire curve granulometriche
costanti nel tempo, bassi livelli di
polverosità e assenza di inquinanti,
favorendo la produzione di fritte
e/o graniglie particolarmente adatte nella tecnologia dei prodotti per

Vetriceramici, a market leader in
the production of grits, is continuing to invest in technological innovation and is presenting the
new GFP “Grits For Polish” range.
The frit kilns in operation at the
Vetriceramici factory are specially designed to achieve perfect
refining of glass and to eliminate
the risk of unmolten parts, thereby ensuring a high level of chemical resistance and compactness. The granulation plants,

designed and built by the company’s engineering team, are
able to guarantee consistent
particle size distribution curves,
low dust levels and the absence
of pollutants, thereby facilitating
the production of frits and/or grits
that are particularly suitable for
glazed full-polish product technology. This technology is used
the world over and features resistance to staining, chemicals
and scratching amongst its main

characteristics. Three different
types of frits have been specially
developed for the various production techniques:
• Grits applied dry in line,
• Mixture of micro grits with glaze
and dedicated medium for
wet application,
• Compound glazes to be milled
for wet application.
Each of these three technologies
produces different results with different production costs. All products must achieve high levels of
performance
and are optimised by Vetriceramici’s specialist
technicians directly on the
client ceramic
company’s
site.
A lot of attention has been
focused on the
expansion coefficient to ensure
that new materials are able to
adapt perfectly to the production of large sizes and to the high
level of colour development together with the use of digital
printing.
Pulpis, a product that will be unveiled at Cersaie 2015, is an example of the different finishes
that can be obtained and provides a perfect balance between graphic design and all the
various textured surfaces.

ottimizzati da tecnici specializzati
di Vetriceramici direttamente nei
cicli produttivi dell’azienda ceramica cliente. Grande attenzione è stata posta al coefficiente dilatometrico per adattare perfettamente i
nuovi materiali alla produzione di
grandi formati, e all’elevato sviluppo cromatico in associazione
all’impiego della stampa digitale.
