as laser cut on steel, reminds of antique architecture, receiving
thrusts from its algorithms, like design and antique architecture
were each other mirrors. Space receives the physical mediums and
makes them its own; physical mediums define space, they leave
traces on it giving it a sense of order and systematic nature.

è trattato in superficie con vernice antigraffio ed antiriflesso come il
cappello di chiusura.
Il cappello ed il vano espositivo contengono corpi illuminanti a LED con
disposizione adeguata allo spazio espositivo da illuminare, relativo
cablaggio e trasformatori. La base è dotata inoltre di cestelli per
contenere il gel di silice PRO-SORB per il controllo passivo del microclima
con valori di UR (%) che saranno prefissati in base alla tipologia dei

Square-base showcases
Showcases for single archaeological finds, that can be seen all around,
caracterized by the lack of vertical rods in the expositive area. The hat and
the expositive area are equipped with lighting LED modules with setup
adjusted to the exhibition’s space.
The base with metallic structure and carter in shaped sheet metal is
treated on the surface with paint non-scratch and non-reflecting, such as
the closing hat.
The base is equipped with small baskets for containing PRO-SORB
(hygroscopical granular) for the passive control of microclimate with values
of Relative Humidity adapted to the objects in exhibition. It is separated
from the expositive area by means of a sand-blasted crystal put lightly in rear

Horizontal showcases constituted by a metallic structure bearing the

of these corners may be connected to the system; it supplies power to lighting

The base is equipped with small baskets for containing PRO-SORB

I due lati lunghi del vano espositivo sono delimitati da lastre in cristallo
antisfondamento di cui quella anteriore con apertura a ribalta comandata con
pistone a gas e chiusura a chiave di sicurezza.
Al di sotto del piano espositivo è predisposto un vano per l’alloggiamento
di apparecchiature tecniche per il controllo attivo del microclima interno

means of brass compasses which support a display plane and a closing hat.

Modular mono-facial or two-facial showcases constituted by side shoulders
linked up by metallic cross bar. The display area is defined, in the front part,
by a openable shutter in shatter-proof cristals and it is equipped with inclined
plane, satined glass and with lighting LED modules with setup adjusted to
the exhibition’s space.
The base is equipped with small baskets for containing PRO-SORB
(hygroscopical granular) for the passive control of microclimate with values
of Relative Humidity adapted to the objects in exhibition. It is separated
from the expositive area by means of a sand-blasted crystal put lightly in rear
position and spaced to allow the control of the relative humidity.
The lateral shoulder is predisposed for coupling a successive module so to give
the shape of a linear sequence of exhibitors. The metallic structure is treated
on the surface with paint non-scratch and non-reflecting. It is available in
the version with one module (cod.1.06), two modules (cod.1.06a) or more.

con disposizione adeguata allo spazio espositivo da illuminare, relativo
cablaggio e trasformatori.

Il sostegno è da fissare a pavimento mediante piattina e viti ed a parete

structure in sheet metal, shaped in conformity with the dimensions of the
slab on show and equipped with pegs in brass and teflon for fixing.
The structure is based upon a rack formed by four C-shaped iron stands fitted
with truncated-pyramidal capital terminals in full brushed brass and fixed to
the structure by means of pins coming by the sides.
The rest may be fixed to the floor by means of metal straps and screws or to
the wall by means of spacers of different dimensions.

I montanti a sezione piatta, i longheroni di collegamento cilindrici e le

La base è zavorrata con piattine metalliche sagomate, trattate in

mediante tondini metallici e brugole in ferro brunito.
Barrier
Barrier that can be utilized singly or in series as a spacer for museum
footpaths or monumental buildings. The flat sectioned standards, the
cylindrical connecting sidemembers and the stiffening slats are made of
American cherry-wood.
The base is ballasted by shaped metal straps treated on the surface with paint
anti-scratch and non-reflecting and joined to the structure by means of metal
rods and allen screws of burnished iron.

Sistema mobile di distribuzione elettrica costituito da due binari fissi in
estruso di alluminio e da barre mobili agganciabili su entrambi i lati ed in
qualunque posizione per ottenere una totale flessibilità rispetto al punto
di alimentazione delle lampade o degli espositori. Le barre ed i binari, in
estruso di alluminio verniciato, complete di coperchio di chiusura, testata
terminale e di alimentazione, binari trifase 16A, sono provviste di vani per
l’alloggiamento di cavi per servizi ausiliari (T.V.C.C-rivelatori, etc).
L’intero sistema può essere fissato a soffitto con cavetti di sospensione
regolabili in acciaio o a parete mediante apposite tiges o staffe di
ancoraggio.
System of electronic distribution
Movable system made up by two fixed tracks in aluminium extrusion and by
mobile bars that can be hooked, on both sides and in any position, to obtain
a total flexibility as regards the point of power supply of the lamps or of the
display stands. The bars and the tracks, in painted aluminium extrusion,
complete with closing cap, terminal head, power supply and 16A three-phase
tracks are equipped with space for housing cables for auxiliary services
(TVCC-detector, etc.). The whole system may be fixed to the ceiling by means
of adjustable and suspended steel cables or to a wall by means of special
tiges or anchorage brackets.

Each structure contains two squares for as many didactic panels in porcelain
steel serigraphied with texts and drawings (cod. 4.01) or with digital writings
(cod. 4.01a).
The upper division is designed for historical-iconographical information;
the lower division, which is smaller, is designed for institutional and helpful
information or for possible sponsors’ advertisements.

Sistema didascalico modulare costituito da elementi integrati mediante
specifici dettagli costruttivi, da giunti in ottone e collegamenti di
irrigidimento in tubo metallico.
L’elemento di base è costituito da una lastra in lamierino metallico
nervato e sagomato, trattato in superficie con vernice antigraffio
ed antiriflesso. Al bordo della lastra sono applicati i giunti in ottone
predisposti per il collegamento ai tubi di irrigidimento posteriore e
formanti sostegno al portadidascalie metallico sagomato a C, distanziato
dalla struttura e sorretto da pioli in ottone sul lato inferiore. In
quest’ultimo potranno essere inseriti fogli in forex serigrafati o sistemi
per la retroilluminazione di lastre traslucide con disegni, testi o immagini.
Modular didactic system
Modular element for the exhibition of translucent plates such as slides,
reproductions texts or images to integrate with the museum’s footpath
as didactic support or to utilize in showrooms for introducing a visit or
explaining the expositive footpath. The structure is formed by plates in
ribbed and shaped sheet metal treated on the surface with embossed
paint non-scratch and non-reflecting and stiffened in the middle by
means of jointing elements in metallic tube. The borders of the plates
are linked up by joints which hold up the panels specially constructed for
containing the electroluminescent sheets for the backward illumination
of the plates. The sheets are spaced out from the structure and supported
by pegs on the lower side.

Equipped standard
Standard that supports a little panel for explanations, footpath indications
or helpful information. The truncated-conical base in brushed brass,
ballasted, holds up an empty threaded cylinder containing the rechargeable
batteries for the power supply of the electro luminescent sheet the
explanation-holder is equipped with.
The same standard can be provided, at the upper end, with a brass strap to
which may be linked up strings and respective catches for delimiting the
footpath areas or distancing works and hand-manufactured articles on show,
according to the visitors’ attendance.

Horizontal showcase for bookshop
Horizontal showcase for showing editorial material and gadgets. The base,
in American cherry-wood, is formed by two side planes jointed by means of
cylindrical uprights. The upper expositive area is protected by an horizontal
shatter-proof glass which forms also a saletop with the wooden border of the
area. Inside, it is fitted out with a sliding plane with flap-shutter to allow an
easier access to the material there exhibited. The shutter is equipped with
key-lock and zips.

Writing-desk
American cherry-wood writing-desk for reception, bookshop, office. The
structure is made of two vertical planes in veneerered multilayer and
baseboard in black rolled section type color-core.
The central stiffening side-member and the horizontal plane are made of the
same material and have opaque finishing such us the other parts.
The worktop is fixed by three large perimetrical bands with clear joints and
ebony nails in the corners.

Module for the exhibition of books and reviews
Wall modular element to show books and magazines formed of a panel at the
bottom in veneerered multilayer of American cherry-wood opaque finishing.
On each module are fixed four review-containers of finely shaped sheet metal
with horizontal stiffening ribs. The elements are joined by rivets and fixed to
the panel at the bottom by allen screws.
The metal surfaces are treated with paint non-scratch and non reflecting.

Walter Lo Cascio
Nasce a Caltanissetta nel 1974. Vive e lavora nella stessa città natale come architetto e fotografo. Appassionato di fotografia sin da giovanissimo, ha iniziato ad eseguire i suoi primi scatti con una reflex
della Yashica. La sua passione è aumentata ancor di più con l’avvento del digitale. Ha partecipato a numerosi concorsi fotografici nazionali ed internazionali con lusinghieri risultati. Ha collaborato come fotografo con diverse riviste nel settore del  turismo, illustrando la Sicilia nelle sue diverse sfaccettature.
Nel 2006 ha ideato e creato il sito internet www.photolook.it, dando la possibilità a tantissimi fotografi, di
poter pubblicare le loro opere e condividerle in rete.
Nel settembre del 2007 una fotografia di Walter viene pubblicata sulla rivista “NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC”
“Gli sguardi della gente della mia Sicilia, i loro visi stanchi durante il duro lavoro, le loro espressioni
compiaciute, gli sguardi di gente ignara di essere fotografata, le rughe degli anziani che segnano il

2005: Venice International Photo Contest (Concorso Internazionale di fotografia organizzato dal PSA e
dal VIPC). Secondo posto assoluto nella sezione BIANCO e NERO medaglia d’argento con la foto “Colazione sul Tamigi”
2006 Triplice vittoria al concorso internazionale Venice International Photo Contest.

Walter Lo Cascio
Walter Lo Cascio was born in Caltanissetta in 1974.
He lives and he works there as an architect and photographer.
His passion for photography started when he was young and grew even more with the advent of digital.
He has participated in numerous national competitions and international photography with good results.
He has worked as a photographer with several magazines in the field of tourism, highlighting Sicily in
its various facets.
In 2006 he conceived and created the website www.photolook.it, giving the opportunity for many photographers to publish their works and share them online.
In September 2007, a photograph of Walter is published in the magazine “NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC”

Fotografo professionista romano, classe 1969.
La sua passione per la fotografia nasce nel 1994 e si sviluppa fino ai giorni nostri. Essendo anche
un abile informatico accoglie con entusiasmo l’avvento della fotografia digitale poiché si ritrova
a prendere il meglio dei due mondi per coniugarli in un unico progetto. Riesce ad esprimersi nella
maggioranza dei temi fotografici poiché possiede un’innata sensibilità a “leggere” la luce, che è la
base di qualsiasi fotografia. Tagli puliti, a volte essenziali ma mai banali, ed una particolare abilità
a “cogliere l’attimo” completano il suo profilo.

Massimiliano Uccelletti
MaXu is Massimiliano Uccelletti.
He is a professional photographer, working in fashion, beauty and advertisement. His studio is in
Rome. In 2009 he had two big advertisement published on MAXIM Italia magazine (for a total of
10 pages!) and his portfolio was published on FOTOGRAFARE and FOTOCOMPUTER magazine (6 pages each). He was born in 1969 in Rome, where he is currently living and working. His passion for
photography begun in 1994 when he bought his first Reflex and some books of photography, that he
studied deeply because, in his opinion, is fundamental to have a good technique in everything that
someone wants to do seriously.
He use Canon 1Ds Mark III, Canon 5D Mark II and 10 Canon “L” Lens. His preferred lens are Canon EF
85mm f/1.2 L II USM and Canon EF 200mm f/2L IS USM.

Antonio Tartaglione
Nato a Roma nel 1957.
Laureato in Filosofia nel 1981, vive e lavora a Bari come fotografo professionista
dal 1983 insieme al fratello Roberto. Sposato con due figli. Si dedica alla ricerca
fotografica dal 1994. Ha esposto in numerose mostre sia personali che collettive.
Sue opere sono conservate presso la Bibliotheque Nazionale a Parigi (F) e presso
la Pinacoteca Provinciale di Bari.
Tra le mostre principali ricordiamo “Passato Prossimo” (Personale a Bari nel 1996
e Palermo 1997) e “Bitonto” (Personale nel Palazzo degli Specchi a Bitonto – BA
nel 2004).
Sue opere sono in permanenza presso la Galleria Acidi Colori di Bari.
Antonio Tartaglione
He was born in Rome in 1957.
He graduated in Philosophy in 1981, lives and works in Bari as a professional photographer since 1983 together with his brother Roberto. Married with two children.
He is engaged into the photographic research since 1994. He has exhibited in numerous exhibitions both personal and collective. His works are preserved at the Bibliotheque National in Paris (F) and at the Pinacoteca Provinciale di Bari.
Roberto Tartaglione
Nasce a Cagliari nel 1962, comincia a fotografare durante suoi viaggi in Europa, occupandosi di
ritratto.
Dopo un’esperienza in una televisione privata trascorre un periodo di lavoro a Milano presso
diversi studi fotografici che si occupano di arredamento. È professionista a Bari dal 1983 insieme
al fratello Antonio. Continua a dedicarsi alla ricerca fotografica, privilegiando l’indagine del territorio della Puglia e della Basilicata.
Tra le sue mostre principali ricordiamo la personale “Corpo a Corpo” presso la Galleria Controluce
a Bari nel 2003.
Roberto Tartaglione
He was born in Cagliari in 1962.
He began taking pictures during his travels in Europe, working on the portrait.
After an experience in a private television he spent a period working in Milan at various photographic studios in the field of furniture. He is a professional photographer in Bari since 1983 together with his brother Antonio. He continues to dedicate himself to the photographic research,
prioritizing the investigation of the territory of Puglia and Basilicata.
