- sensors and control systems equipping field agricultural machines
- electronic system for agricultural products non-destructive quality analysis;
- agro-food processing plants (drying process, in particular).
Biomass use and agro-energies, with particularly reference to:
- use of biomass in biomass to energy processes and chains (thermochemical and/or
biochemical conversion;
- sustainability analysis (techno-economical, energetic and economic) of biomass to
energy chains (biogas, SVO and biodiesel, bioethanol, biofuels for combustion and
gasification) using also LCA approach;
- net biomass availability and biomass supply evaluations for energy plants;
- farms and food-industries energy requirements evaluation and optimization.
International Cooperation, with particularly reference to:
- high education projects in African Developing Countries.
