Arclinea ieri, oggi, domani
L’azienda nasce nel 1925 come laboratorio specializzato
nella lavorazione del legno. Nel 1960 diviene “Arclinea
Cucine Componibili”, dove Arc è l’acronimo di Arredamento
Razionale Componibile. Abbandonando la dimensione
artigianale Arclinea inizia a dedicarsi alla produzione di
mobili da cucina, promuovendo, in anticipo sui tempi, una
produzione in serie orientata alla qualità e allo sviluppo del
disegno industriale. Assumendo un posizionamento preciso
in un settore giovane ma in rapida crescita, Arclinea diviene
presto azienda di riferimento del settore e in breve tempo
di riconosciuta coerenza e di prestigio a livello
internazionale. Lo sviluppo e l’evoluzione del mondo della
cucina Arclinea si muove fin da subito in parallelo alla
trasformazione culturale e sociale del suo fruitore.
Correlando tradizione e innovazione e focalizzando in prima
istanza i criteri funzionali, la cucina, grazie ad Arclinea, da
luogo di status esibito, diventa sempre più spazio da vivere,
luogo privilegiato del piacere: del preparare, del cucinare,
del condividere. Esigenze, funzioni e competenze diverse
sono ogni volta tradotte in progetto da Arclinea. Così la
tradizione diventa innovazione e interpreta la cucina,
creativamente. Da qualche tempo Arclinea è anche cucina
professionale, progettabile per consentire alte prestazioni

Arclinea yesterday, today, tomorrow
The company was founded in 1925 as a laboratory
specialising in wood working. In 1960 it became “Arclinea
Cucine Componibili”, where Arc stood for Arredamento
Razionale Componibile (Rational Modular Furniture).
Moving away from the artisan aspect, Arclinea shifted focus
to the manufacture of kitchen furniture, ahead of their
time in promoting series production based on quality and
the development of industrial design. Reaching a clear-cut
positioning in an emerging yet rapidly growing sector,
Arclinea soon became a benchmark company, quickly
gaining international recognition for its coherence and
prestige. The development and evolution of the Arclinea
kitchen moves at the same pace as the cultural and social
transformation of its users. Combining tradition and
innovation and prioritising the criteria of functions, Arclinea
has modified the kitchen, in time transforming it from a
show of status into a space for living, somewhere chosen
for the pleasure of preparing, cooking and sharing. Different
needs, functions and competences are time and again
translated into design by Arclinea. Tradition thus becomes
innovation in a creative interpretation of the kitchen. For
some time now, Arclinea has also been professional
kitchens, offering designs that enable culinary performance,
both in people’s homes and in cookery schools. This evolved
mindset has made way for the “Arclinea Project Division”,
which thanks to its Hospitality, Marine and Residential
divisions, is today a constantly expanding international
business.

Arclinea ayer, hoy, mañana
La empresa fue fundada en 1925 como taller especializado
en la mecanización de la madera; en 1960 se convirtió en
“Arclinea Cucine Componibili”, siendo Arc la sigla de
“Arredamento Razionale Componibile” (Muebles Racionales
Componibles). Arclinea abandonó entonces sus dimensiones
artesanales para comenzar a dedicarse a la producción de
muebles de cocina, anticipándose al futuro, al promover la
producción en serie orientada a la calidad y al desarrollo del
diseño industrial. Asumiendo una posición precisa en una
industria joven pero en rápido crecimiento, Arclinea pronto
se convirtió en una empresa de referencia para el sector, de
reconocida coherencia y prestigio a nivel internacional. El
desarrollo y la evolución del mundo de la cocina Arclinea
siguieron una trayectoria paralela a la transformación cultural
y social del usuario. Vinculando la tradición a la innovación
y centrándose, en primera instancia, en los criterios funcionales,
gracias a Arclinea la cocina dejó de ser un símbolo de estatus
para convertirse en un espacio para ser vivido, un lugar
privilegiado del placer: de preparar, de cocinar, de compartir.
Arclinea transforma en proyecto las distintas exigencias,
funciones y competencias de cada caso. La tradición se
convierte entonces en innovación e interpreta la cocina de
manera creativa. Desde hace un tiempo, Arclinea ofrece
también cocinas profesionales, diseñadas para permitir altas
prestaciones culinarias tanto en los hogares como en las
escuelas de cocina. Este pensamiento evolutivo ha abierto el
camino a la “Project Division Arclinea”, que con sus divisiones
Hospitality, Marine y Residential hoy constituye una realidad

spécialisé dans la menuiserie. En 1960, la société devient
« Arclinea Cucine Componibili », Arc étant l’acronyme de
Arredamento Razionale Componibile (ameublement
rationnel modulable). Arclinea abandonne alors sa dimension
artisanale pour se concentrer sur la fabrication de meubles
de cuisine. Pionnière en la matière, l’entreprise adopte une
production en série axée sur la qualité et sur le développement
du dessin industriel. Occupant un positionnement précis
sur un secteur jeune mais en plein essor, Arclinea devient
rapidement une entreprise de référence sur son secteur. Elle
acquiert en peu de temps une cohérence reconnue, ainsi
qu’un prestige international. Le développement et l’évolution
de l’univers des cuisines Arclinea reflète immédiatement la
transformation culturelle et sociale du public auquel elles
sont destinées. En associant tradition et innovation, et en
mettant au premier plan les critères fonctionnels, Arclinea a
progressivement transformé la cuisine d’expression de statut
social en un espace de vie voué au plaisir : plaisir de préparer,
de cuisiner et de partager. Exigences, fonctions et
compétences différentes sont chaque fois traduits en projets
par Arclinea. La tradition devient ainsi innovation et elle
interprète la cuisine de manière créative. Depuis un certain
temps, Arclinea est également devenue une cuisine
professionnelle, conçue pour permettre de hautes prestations
culinaires, autant dans les logements privés que dans les

Arclinea gestern, heute, morgen
Die Firma entsteht 1925 als Handwerksbetrieb für
Holzbearbeitung; 1960 wird sie zu „Arclinea Cucine
Componibili“ (Arclinea Anbauküchen) umbenannt, wobei
Arc, der erste Wortteil von Arclinea, die Kurzform für
Arredamento Razionale Componibile (Rationale Anbaumöbel)
ist. Arclinea wächst bald über den Rahmen der rein
handwerklichen Fertigung hinaus und beginnt, sich der
Herstellung von Küchenmöbeln zu widmen. Seiner Zeit
voraus, fördert das Unternehmen eine qualitätsorientierte,
auf die Entwicklung des industriellen Designs ausgerichtete
Serienproduktion. Arclinea erreicht eine präzise Positionierung
in einer jungen, jedoch schnell wachsenden Branche, wird
bald zu einem Unternehmen, das als Bezugspunkt in der
Küchenbranche gilt und dessen Treue zur Kohärenz und zur
hohen Qualität sehr schnell internationale Anerkennung
findet. Entwicklung und Wandel der Philosophie von Arclinea
für Küchen bewegt sich von allem Anfang an stets parallel
zum kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Wandel der Menschen,
die diese Küchen nutzen und darin leben. Durch die enge
Verbindung von Tradition und Innovation und vor allem durch
das richtige Erkennen der funktionellen Kriterien ist die Küche
dank Arclinea im Laufe der Zeit von einem reinen Statussymbol
immer mehr zu einem Raum zum Leben, zu einer bevorzugten
Umgebung für die Freude am Zubereiten, am Kochen und
an der Geselligkeit geworden. Unterschiedliche Anforderungen,
Funktionen und Kompetenzen werden von Arclinea jedes

Gamma, la storia di un concetto
Gamma per Arclinea è molto più di un nome: è un concetto
di cucina “moderna”, in progress, senza tempo. La sua storia
inizia negli anni ’70, da ricerche progettuali atte a
sviluppare il prodotto cucina italiano sui mercati interni ed
internazionali, a partire da esigenze tecniche di modularità
“europea”, che permettono ad Arclinea di uniformarsi alle
regole dell’edilizia industrializzata e al conseguente
sviluppo della sua offerta, ma incontrando subito una
tendenza di gusto orientata alla semplicità e alla pulizia
formale. A partire dal 1970, con la nascita di Gamma30, la
cucina “senza maniglia” diviene simbolo di leggerezza ed
eleganza e, per Arclinea, ulteriore stimolo per una ricerca
costante, formale e sostanziale insieme, che ha generato
nel tempo progetti straordinari, di forte impatto estetico
come di estrema razionalità compositiva, passando
attraverso approfonditi studi sul colore e una ricerca
continua sui materiali. Oggi Gamma è un prodotto

Gamma, the story of a concept
For Arclinea, Gamma is much more than just a name: it is a
“modern” kitchen concept, ongoing and timeless. Its story
started in the seventies, with design research to develop
the Italian kitchen product on markets at home and
abroad. It met the technical requirements of “European”
fitted kitchens, bringing Arclinea into line with
industrialised building standards and the consequent
development of its range, immediately satisfying a trend in
taste that favoured simplicity and formal essentiality.
With the birth of Gamma30 in 1970, the “handle-free”
kitchen became a symbol of lightness and elegance, and,
for Arclinea, a further stimulus for constant, formal,
substantial research that over time has generated
extraordinary projects, with big aesthetic impact and
outmost compositional rationality, via in-depth study into
colour and continual experimentation with materials.
Gamma today is a complete product that reaches right
across the board to mix and match with every section in
the general Arclinea catalogue and integrate every design

Su historia comienza en los años 70 a partir de estudios
proyectuales aptos para desarrollar el producto cocina
italiano en los mercados internos e internacionales según
exigencias técnicas de modularidad “europea”, que
permiten a Arclinea uniformarse a las reglas de la
construcción industrializada y al consiguiente desarrollo de
su oferta, pero respondiendo inmediatamente a una
tendencia de gusto orientada a la simplicidad y a la
sencillez formal. En 1970, con la creación de Gamma30, la
cocina “sin tirador” se convierte en símbolo de liviandad y
elegancia y, para Arclinea, en ulterior estímulo de una
búsqueda constante, formal y al mismo tiempo sustancial,
que a lo largo del tiempo ha generado proyectos
extraordinarios, de fuerte impacto estético y extrema
racionalidad compositiva, pasando por estudios
exhaustivos del color y por la continua investigación de los
materiales. Hoy Gamma es un producto transversal

Pour Arclinea, Gamma est bien plus qu’un nom : il s’agit
d’un concept de cuisine « moderne », intemporel et qui
progresse constamment. Son histoire débute dans les
années 70, à partir de recherches conceptuelles dont
l’objectif est de développer le produit cuisine italienne sur
le marché national et à l’étranger. Ce sont d’abord les
exigences techniques de modularité « européenne », qui
permettent à Arclinea de se conformer aux règles du
bâtiment industrialisé et au développement conséquent de
son offre, tout en rencontrant immédiatement une
tendance esthétique axée sur la simplicité et la netteté
formelle. Dès 1970, Gamma30, la cuisine « sans poignée »
voit le jour. Elle devient le symbole de la légèreté et de
l’élégance et représente pour Arclinea une motivation
supplémentaire pour poursuivre des recherches sur le fond
et sur la forme. Ces recherches donneront le jour au fil des

Küche. Ihre Geschichte beginnt in den 70er Jahren mit
Projektforschungen, um die italienische Küche als Produkt
im Inland und auf den internationalen Märkten zu
entwickeln: angefangen bei den technischen Anforderungen
an eine „europäische“ Modularität, die es Arclinea
ermöglichen, sich an die Regeln des industrialisierten Bauens
und an die sich daraus ergebende Entwicklung seines
Angebots anzupassen und dabei sofort einen auf Schlichtheit
und klare Ästhetik in der Formgebung gerichteten

proprio ambiente cucina. Per le ante in laminato, ad esempio,
oltre alle 40 colorazioni di serie di listino, Gamma offre 160
colorazioni aggiuntive di laminati a richiesta. In questa
ambientazione il progetto Gamma è lineare a parete: con
anta in laminato Satin bianco e piano strutturato in acciaio
inox, costituito dal supporto di 6 cm più il piano di lavoro
da 0,6 cm. L’area operativa è caratterizzata da pensili ad anta
sporgente con apertura Aventos e illuminazione a LED
lungo tutta la lunghezza tra basi e pensili. Calda e accogliente
l’area conviviale con tavolo e panca in legno, disponibili
anch’esse in tutte le finiture legno della Collezione Arclinea.

kitchen layout. For example, Gamma offers 160 additional
laminate colours on request for its doors, as well as over 40
standard shades on the price list. In this layout, Gamma
has a linear design that follows the wall, featuring door in
white Satin laminate and structured stainless steel
worktop, comprising a 6 cm structure plus 0.6 cm top. The
working area has wall units with protruding door and
Aventos opening and LED lighting running along the entire
section between wall and base units. The welcoming eating
area has a wooden table and bench, these too available in

entrambe con guide Legrabox. A destra: la particolare
cottura ad induzione, che consente di progettare liberamente
i fuochi sul piano di lavoro, posizionandoli anche
separatamente. Sopra i fuochi, la cappa Signum. La zona
passaggio alle altre aree della casa è progettata con razionalità
utilizzando capienti contenitori e anta in finitura Decor Light.

Nachhaltige Unternehmensphilosophie

Materialien und Frontausführungen
Aufmerksame Auswahl, sorgfältige Verarbeitung,
einzigartige Projekte. Sorgfalt bei der Wahl der Materialien
und bei ihrer Verarbeitung. Handwerkliche Verarbeitungen
wie zum Beispiel die eingearbeitete Griffmulde sowie die
Tropfschutzkante der Arbeitsplatten aus Edelstahl AISI 304
(18/8). Korpusausführungen: Titan (rundum mit
Melaminharzbeschichtung, wasserfest und hitzebeständig
bis 150°C mit splittersicherer Kante), Okoumé (wasserfeste
Mehrschichtholz-Sperrholzplatte) oder weiß. Große
Auswahl an Materialien für die Arbeitsplatten: Edelstahl,
Solid Core, Holz, Quarz, Marmor und Granit sowie
Kunststofflaminat (wasserabweisende Spanplatten mit HPL
Kunststoff laminatbeschichtung) mit Holz- Edelstahl- oder
