• You can visit the castle and see its art and
scuplture collections. The visit lasts 2 hours.

• You can have a tour of the courtyards and of
the “Sempione Park”. You can take the
street “Via Dante”, which is pedestrianized,
then, on the left, the street “Via San
Dalmazio” to go to the “Scala”.
The « Teatro alla Scala »
La Scala, as the Teatro alla Scala is locally
known, is the most famous opera house in the
world. It was inaugurated in 1778.
The museum is open from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm
and from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

The « Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II »
Just a few steps from the Duomo is the« Galleria
Vittorio Emanuele II » which was completed in 1877.
According to local tradition, if you put the heel on the
testicles of the bull mosaic and turn three times on
yourself, your wish will be fulfilled!
The « Duomo » of Milan
It is made of pink marble and contains 3,000 statues.
It’s the third largest cathedral in the world.
It is open from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.

the « baptistry» of San Giovanni and its «Treasure» :

« San Siro »
By underground to Lotto(M1) and then by n°49 bus
The visit lasts about : h 2.30
Open every day from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (departure every 20
minutes)
The “San Siro” Stadium was built in 1926 and has been renewed
many times. Today it can hold about 85.000 people. The
museum, opened in 1996, is the first and the only one in Italy
located in a stadium.

National Museum of Science and Technology
“Leonardo da Vinci”
It became, quickly, one of the most visited in Milan.
The museum opened its doors in 1947 and it´s
located in three different buildings. The most
important of them is the Olivetan monastery that was
built in the 16th century. Another presents an old art
nouveau train station atmosphere and, the last one, is
located in the building of the Aerial and Maritime
Transport museum.

“National Gallery of Modern Art”
The “Pinacoteca di Brera” is located in the “Brera” Palace. Here are also
located other cultural institutions, such as the Library, the Astronomic
Observatory, the Botanic gardens, the Lombard Institute of Sciences and
Letters, and the Fine Arts Academy.
The “Pinacoteca” is the main museum of Milan, and one of the most
important in the world for its prestigious collections of ancient and
modern painting.
