The Count of Monte Cristo
&
The Mysterious Death of
Charles Bravo
The Count of Monte Cristo
Marseille, France, 1815.
During his betrothal banquet, Edmond was arrested on charges of
Bonapartism, framed by an anonymous letter delivered to the
gendarmerie, written by his accountant board Danglars, envious of
his appointment as captain.
Edmond is questioned by the Prosecutor Villefort, who delivered
the letter received in which compromised the father of the
prosecutor. This one destroys the letter and then traps the poor
Edmond.
The Count of Monte Cristo
Here Dantes meets Abbe Faria, a man of science considered
crazy, that speaks of a fabulous treasure buried on the island of
Monte Cristo.
Many years later Faria, who suffers from epilepsy, died after three
violent attacks, leaving a legacy to Edmond the treasure map of
Monte Cristo.
Dantes then managed to escape after 14 years of imprisonment.
The Count of Monte Cristo
Edmon is a fugitive and he don't have a boat.
During a storm he's rescued by Italian smugglers who lead him
right on the island of Monte Cristo. Here, following the map of
Faria, he recovers the ancient and enormous treasure.
Edmond returns to Italy and gets to appoint “Count of Monte
Cristo” by the authorities.
