How it was
Overall goal
• “The outcome of WP4 is the design,
implementation and evaluation of software
components that will be integrated in WP5 to
create a monitoring infrastructure.”
How it was
• CIS-UNIROMA
– (i) a trusted information environment based on the publish/subscribe
paradigm;
– (ii) a software module to automatically detect security issues from
spatio-temporal data captured by sensors;
– (iii) an algorithm that protects financial infrastructures from portscan
attacks;
– (iv) an algorithm that guarantees anonymity of operations in complex
systems.
• UNITN (Leader)
– Anomaly based malware detection techniques
• UNIRC
– will focus on the design, implementation and evaluation of trustbased mechanisms to protect SCADA systems.
• UNINA
– will concentrate on dependability aspects devising (or adapting
existing) system reconfiguration techniques
