 Il lavoro in tutto il mondo è fondamentale perché tiene in piedi l’ economia di ogni
singolo paese.
 Le attività economiche si suddividono in tre settori: primario, secondario e terziario.
Il settore PRIMARIO racchiude tutte le attività che hanno a che fare
con l’estrazione delle materie prime: allevamento suino, estrazioni
minerarie, estrazione del marmo, coltivazione dei cereali, del
tabacco, degli agrumi , produzione dell’olio e del vino, …..
Il settore SECONDARIO racchiude tutte le attività che trasformano le
materie prime in prodotti finiti: industria elettrica, industria
petrolchimica, industria alimentare , l’industria dolciaria, …..
Il settore TERZIARIO racchiude tutte le attività che offrono servizi
utili alla popolazione: il commercio, le scuole, gli ospedali, la polizia,
il turismo balneare, il turismo invernale, il turismo d’arte, ……..

IL TURISMO IN ITALIA
Il turismo è, in Italia, uno dei settori più importante del
terziario perché sostiene un gran numero di aziende.
Prime fra tutte le agenzie di viaggio, che organizzano vacanze
di ogni tipo e permettono alle persone di muoversi liberamente
da un capo all’altro del mondo.
Aeroplano, treno, traghetti e autobus sono
indispensabili per chi viaggia, come lo sono gli alberghi,
i ristoranti, i campeggi, che offrono ai turista i servizi di
cui hanno bisogno: la possibilità di riposare, di mangiare
e divertirsi.
Tutte queste attività danno lavoro a migliaia e migliaia di
persone in ogni città italiana: l’Italia, infatti, è
ricchissima di monumenti, di opere d’arte, di resti
storici e di bellezze naturali che attirano visitatori da
tutto il mondo.

 In inglese abbiamo affrontato una nuova unit che parla dei
mestieri e abbiamo appreso nuove parole come fireman – vet -
police office – chef.
 In geografia abbiamo scoperto i settori dove lavorano i nostri
genitori ed abbiamo scoperto come si dicono in inglese i mestieri
dei nostri genitori .
