It’s easy!
I’m going
to
explain
you the
project!
Starting from the notion of “European Knowledge”
(apart from “national knowledge” and based on a
common identity as Europeans and/or similar experience;
compare the discussion about a Collective European
History) we would like to find out if and how European
knowledge plays a role in quiz shows like “Who wants to
be a millionaire” quiz, which can be solved by
participants from different European countries. Doing
that, the students should find out why some topics are
relevant all over Europe and why some are less
important. At the same time, they should experience what
makes Europe. Is it the common heritage, the shared
experience as Europeans? Is there a European culture?
Or is it a mixture of cultures, which is unique? The
content of the question results from lessons in all different
classes (collected and formed into questions by the
students) and from the work of a team of students called
“QUIZ” which will try to get input from different places
and write questions themselves. The quiz will be created
in different formats (online game, board game, live show).
At the final event, it will be presented to the public as a
competition among mixed teams of students from
different partner schools. The participants will have
qualified themselves in pre-final quiz contests at their
schools.
Partendo dalla nozione di “conoscenze europee” (diverse
dalle “conoscenze nazionali” e basate sull’identità
comune come Europei e/o simili esperienze; paragonare
le discussioni riguardo alla storia collettiva europea) noi
vorremmo scoprire se e come la conoscenza europea
gioca un ruolo nei quiz show come “Chi vuol essere
milionario”, che può essere fatto da partecipanti di
diverse nazioni europee. Facendo ciò, gli studenti
scoprirebbero perché alcuni argomenti sono più
importanti in tutta l’Europa e altri meno. Allo stesso
tempo, proverebbero cos’è l’Europa. È lo stesso
patrimonio comune, condividiamo le stesse esperienze?
Esiste una cultura europea? O è un misto di culture, che
sono uniche? Il contenuto delle domande verrà ricavato
dalle lezioni nelle varie classi (collezionate e create dagli
studenti), dalle domande dei Quiz televisivi e dal lavoro
di un Team di studenti chiamato “QUIZ” che proverà a
prendere l’input da diversi posti e scriverà le domande.
Il quiz sarà creato in vari formati (gioco on line, da
tavolo e live show). Per finire, sarà presentato al
pubblico come competizione tra teams di studenti
provenienti dalle scuole partner. I partecipanti si
saranno qualificati nella semifinale che si terrà nelle loro
scuole.

Descrizione del Progetto
Il liceo scientifico tecnologico ottenuto dall’Agenzia Socrates l’autorizzazione e un
contenuto parziale per partecipare al progetto scolastico intitolato “Chi vuol essere un
Super Europeo?” ideato e coordinato dall’istituto Staatliche Fachoberschule di
Ansbach, Germania e avente altre scuole partecipanti:

Il General Lyceum of Kavala, Grecia
Il Liceo Scientifico-Tecnologico Capizzi di Bronte
OBIETTIVI
Il progetto mira a perseguire i seguenti obiettivi:
-Motivare lo studio e la pratica della lingua straniera come strumento per conoscere e farsi
conoscere, per confrontare stili e modelli di cultura; per elaborare progetti di interesse comune;
realizzare quello scambio di esperienze, conoscenze e idee che aiutano a costruire la propria identità
-Creare occasioni di incontro e socializzazione tra coetanei, di scambio di informazioni relativamente
a mentalità e stili di vita, di collaborazione.
-Indagare sulle similarità e differenze culturali dei paesi coinvolti nel progetto
-Apprezzare le varietà nazionali all’interno della comunità globale Europea, educare alla
consapevolezza del relativismo culturale
-Acquisizione e potenziamento di abilità organizzative, di coordinamento e di socializzazione
-L’impiego di Tecnologie moderne dell’informazione e delle comunicazioni, vicine al bagaglio di
interessi, conoscenze , competenze e curiosità di alunni adolescenti ( e-mail, chat ecc.) fornirà
occasioni di pratica tecnologica motivante.

(Greece) where they defined the
goals and the activities of the

Nel mese di Novembre si è tenuto a
Kavala, in Grecia, il primo incontro
cui hanno partecipato i coordinatori
e ( per la Germania e la Turchia ) i
presidi delle scuole partner e nel
corso del quale si sono definiti
obiettivi e contenuti del progetto e
