in the large adhesion to the Equal project round I "Coast
Revitalization" of which “Valori” is transferring a good practice
in the adhesion to Equal project round II “La Costa della
Conoscenza” (The knowledge based coast)

The Province of Livorno has led the partnership of projects such as
Equal round I “Coast Revitalization”

Equal round II “La Costa della Conoscenza” (The knowledge
based coast)

Protocol of Agreement between the 5 provinces for the
implementation of measures to assist disadvantaged people in
the labour market
-
Project “Costa Toscana per l’Inclusione” (Coast of Tuscany for
Inclusion) to place disadvantaged people in the labor market
through work experience

In the project “Valori”:

has promoted the proposal with Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo as
co-ordinating partner
involved the Job Centres to raise awareness among businesses
Involved the Employment Services with the Services targeted to
Disabled people
invited the responsibles and services operators to follow the
course for JFT

The production reality has shown interest in the experimental
measures for disadvantaged

in sensibility to issues of disadvantage and diversity displayed
by cathegory associations, public and private enterprises
in response that some production realities, especially
cooperative enterprises, have given by adhering to the JFT
path

Diversity: an extended concept
Thanks to the contribution of private enterprises the concept of
diversity in the workplace, has been extended from
disability situations to:

situations related to personal distress (marital, family, health,
etc..), including temporary

corporate crisis

difference in the management of schedules and working time

wider difficulties (communicative, relational, etc.)

Diversity Management: an instrument of change
As part of the path for Job Facilitation Tutor (240 hours) the
theoretical part of classroom and DL (40 hours) includes a
module of Diversity Management (14 hours)

The module has been expanded to provide the responsible for
HR with updated tools and facilitation techniques

DM module teaches to deal with situations of diversity and can
serve in practice to work on the business climate

Besides the classroom lessons, moments of comparison with
the company’s personnel are planned.

JFT and the chances of system
The presence in the JFT of operators of Public Services for the
Employment allows:

To check the tools and themes so they can use them with
extended numbers of users of the services

to qualify the public operators with updated techniques

to spread the model "JFT" in the territories covered by the
project, in order to facilitate the drafting and implementation of
the “Protocol of Agreement on the labor market" which is the end
product of the project
