Scanning and analysis on 2011 run is going on.
Additionally to OPERA event analysis, PADOVA scanning lab is contributing on the
study of the volcanoes by muon radiography using nuclear emulsion film. In this
project, we collaborate with Tokyo, Napoli, Salerno, l’Aquila Universities and LNGS.

U. Kose is contributing on numunue oscillations study and DATA/MC comparison. He
is also co-supervising thesis work in Laurea Magistrale in Fisica, entitled ”Development
of new tracking algorithm and Electromagnetic shower reconstruction tool in the OPERA
nuclear emulsions using GPU.”
E. Medinaceli is contributing on MC study to improve of our understanding on charm
analysis, mainly on the detection efficiencies and background estimations. He also
works on the implementation of decay search tool in the MC.
