What do Poles eat for breakfast?
Usually bread or breadrolls
with ham chees,
tomatoes,cucumber,
sometimes eggs.
To drink there is always tea
or coffee.

1st course is usually a soup. We have many
different kinds of soup, eg. chicken soup,
funghi, pomodori, cetrioli, barszcz
czerwony ( ràbano soup), żurek - made of
rye-flour and served with potatoes, diced
sausages and hard-boiled eggs.
2nd course- meat with potatoes
Perhaps the best-known Polish
culinary classic is kotlet schabowy fried pork chop coated in breadcrumbs
and served with potatoes and
cabbage. Other popular pork dishes
include roasted or boiled golonka
(pork knuckle).We also adore kotlety
mielone made of vale meat.
The Polish cuisine is noted for superb
dumplings, especially pierogi (tortelli),
which have variety of fillings (eg. di
cavolo e funghi porcini). Other popular
vegetarian dishes include naleśniki
(pancakes), pyzy (steamed dumplings
made from potato flour) and gołąbki
(piccioncini, involtini di cavolo)
Deserts
•Sernik (cheesecake) is one of the most
popular desserts in Poland. It is a cake made
primarily of twaróg(Quark), a type of fresh
cheese. Also popy seed cake (makowiec) is
one of the favourite as well as babka
piaskowa (sand cake) and famous
“Kremówki" del Papa.
Beverages- NAPOJE
In Poland we don’t drink only water with every
meal. We usually have a kompot - a non-alcoholic
beverage made of boiled fruit,served hot or cold
or succo di frutta.
Poland is also very famous for its alcoholic
drinks which include best quality vodka
and beer
