Die Stiftung will die junge Fachdisziplin an der Fachhochschule stärken
und die stetige Weiterentwicklung
des Berufsstands begleiten. Immer
mehr Menschen sollen dank gut ausgebildeten
«Ergos» ihre Handlungsfähigkeit im Alltag wieder
erlangen oder steigern können – dank ihrem medizinischen Grundwissen, handwerklichen Geschick
und ihrer menschlicher Anteilnahme.
Die Auswahl aus den Projekten ist
für die Stiftung anspruchsvoll. Die
Gelder sind begrenzt. Kernfragen:
Kann das Projekt wissenschaftliche
Lücken schliessen? Zeigt es neue Berufsfelder auf?
Schafft es motivierende Praxisbeispiele? Vieles ist
sinnvoll, aber nicht vordringlich. Qual der Wahl…

Therapy Zurich». Yes, the «SETZ» had
been very active: worldwide networking and modern teaching methods were essential.
In 2009, its job was transferred to *ZHAW. The sale
of the premises enabled the new foundation.

The foundation supports the new dodomain at the *Zurich University of
Applied Sciences and backs the OT
profession as a whole. In the future,
even more patients shall benefit from well trained
«OTs» with the aim of enhancing or regaining their
ability to perform activities of daily living – based
on their basic medical knowledge, their technical
and practical skills as well as their genuine empathy.

best choices among the presented

Will the project enlarge the number of evidencebased studies on OT? Does it propose new fields of
OT activities? Can it enrich OT best practice? Is it a
core topic, essential and urgent? A real challenge!

Von 1957 bis 2009 bildet die Schule
für Ergotherapie Zürich (SETZ) 1’200
«Ergos» aus. Die Schule ist aktiv und
präsent: weltweite Kontakte und
moderne Lehrmethoden prägen sie. 2009 geht der
Studiengang an die Zürcher Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften ZHAW. Der Verkaufserlös
des Schulhaus fliesst in die neue Förderstiftung.

puissent bénéficier des OT pour retrouver et élargir la capacité d’action au quotidien. Et ceci grâce

con contatti in tutto il mondo ed un
livello di formazione molto avanzato. Nel 2009, la
missione passa alla *ZHAW (Zurigo). La vendita dei
locali contribuisce a costituire la nuova fondazione.
