Per omaggiare la tradizione della buona tavola che da sempre appartiene al Laurin, per tutto il
2010 lo chef de cuisine egon heiss proporrà una selezione delle specialità di un tempo. Ispirato dal
ricettario storico di Helgi Staffler, Heiss rivisiterà i piatti tradizionali della Bolzano del secolo
scorso riproponendoli in una attuale versione cover. Un delizioso excursus gastronomico da non
perdere: ordinando uno di questi piatti come l’aspic di mele cotogne con pot pourri di anatra, farete
un salto nel passato portando a casa la ricetta originale.

Als Hommage an die lange Genuss-Tradition des Laurin serviert Küchenchef egon heiss das ganze
Jahr über ausgewählte Spezialitäten anno 1910. Inspiriert vom Kochbuch von Frau Helgi Staffler
bietet er klassische Gerichte der alten Bozner Küche an und ergänzt sie mit seiner zeitgemäßen
“Cover-Version”. Die Traditionsgerichte bieten nicht nur ein lukullisches Erlebnis: Zum
Originalgericht erhalten Sie auch das Rezept und einen Einblick in die Geschichte von Zutaten und
Zubereitungsarten. Freuen Sie sich z.B. auf die “Quittensulz” im Dialog mit “Verschiedenem
von der Barbarie Ente mit geschmorter Birnenquitte”.

Paying homage to Laurin‘s long gourmet tradition, throughout the year the head chef egon heiss
is serving selected dishes from 1910. Inspired by the cookery book by Mrs Helgi Staffler, he is
offering classic “Bozen fare” supplemented by his own “cover versions” prepared in a manner more
suited to modern tastes. In addition to epicurean delights you will receive the recipe and insight
into the history of ingredients and preparation methods. Look forward to “quince jelly” in combination
with cuts of “Barbary duck with stewed pears and quince”.

Quasi in contemporanea con il Parkhotel Laurin, anche il jazz festeggia un anniversario importante.
Un’occasione in più per rendere omaggio a questo genere musicale che da molti anni è uno
dei cardini della vita culturale del Laurin. Tutto il 2010 è dedicato a un avvincente viaggio nella storia
del jazz. Come di consueto ogni venerdì si rinnova l’appuntamento con ... all that jazz! in cui
artisti di calibro internazionale passeranno in rassegna 100 anni di musica: un’occasione unica
per conoscere la storia, le radici statunitensi, l’influenza europea e le tante sfumature di questo genere
musicale. Nell’incomparabile cornice del laurin bar suoneranno grandi come Duško Gojković,
Albert Tootie Heath e Hal Singer.
I concerti iniziano alle 21.30, per la prima consumazione viene calcolato un supplemento da 10 a 15 €.

durch 100 Jahre Jazzgeschichte. Jeden Freitag, wie gewohnt, wenn es heißt: ... all that jazz!
Hochkarätige, internationale Künstler machen die Entwicklung des Jazz erlebbar, verdeutlichen seine
amerikanischen und europäischen Einflüsse und zeigen die Vielseitigkeit dieser Musikrichtung auf.
Freuen Sie sich darauf, Größen wie Duško Gojković, Albert Tootie Heath oder Hal Singer
live in Bozen zu erleben – bei einem gutes Glas Wein oder einem der beliebten Laurin Cocktails im

The centenary of the Parkhotel Laurin coincides with the centenary of jazz. What better reason to
celebrate this music genre which has been intrinsically intertwined with cultural life in Laurin
for decades! Throughout the year you can experience an exciting journey through a century of jazz
history. A weekly fixture billed as: ... all that jazz! These concerts taking place in the most
relaxing ambience imaginable feature top international musicians who express the American and
European influences in jazz while displaying the versatility of this musical style. Look forward to
watching great live acts in Bolzano, including Duško Gojković, Albert Tootie Heath, Hal Singer while
savouring a glass of superb wine or one of the famous laurin cocktails.
Friday concerts begin at 9.30 pm and a admission supplement of 10 to 15 € is added to the price of the first drink.

un intero anno di highlight
Per pregustare tutti i momenti culminanti, ecco qualche anticipazione sul programma del 2010: in
marzo verranno presentati il video con reinhold messner “könig laurin und der rosengarten"
e il cd del giubileo “dj kuhn im rosengarten”. Il progetto l _100 designlab avvierà una
collaborazione con la Facoltà di Design e Arti della Libera Università di Bolzano: per l’occasione la
limonaia del Laurin si trasformerà in atelier e lo spazio antistante il foyer dell’albergo in area espositiva
per una nuova installazione.
Poche settimane più tardi, in aprile, verrà inaugurata la laurin suite@paradeis, una camera
d’albergo molto particolare nel giardino della tenuta Alois Lageder a Magrè (prenotabile da subito al
numero telefonico 0471 311000 o al sito www.laurin.it). Giugno sarà il mese delle sculture con
tre nuove opere di artisti altoatesini esposte nel parco … le sorprese non mancheranno.

Weil die Vorfreude eine der schönsten Freuden ist – hier ein kleiner Ausblick auf einige der
Highlights, die Sie dieses Jahr im Laurin erwarten: Im März werden der Videofilm „könig laurin
und der rosengarten“ mit reinhold messner sowie die jubiläums - cd “dj kuhn im
rosengarten” präsentiert. Außerdem startet das Projekt „ l _100 designlab“, eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Fakultät für Design und Künste der Freien Universität Bozen. Dabei wird
das Gartenhaus des Laurin zum Design-Atelier und der Bereich vor dem Hoteleingang zum
„Schau-Platz“ einer Kunst-Installation.
Wenige Wochen später, im April, wird die laurin suite@paradeis eröffnet – ein ganz besonderes
Hotelzimmer im Garten des Weinguts Alois Lageder in Margreid (ab sofort buchbar!

neue kunstwerke von südtiroler künstlern erweitert… und vieles mehr.

a year rich in highlights
To whet your appetite here is a short a selection of this year’s highlights to look forward to: in
March the presentation of the video film “king laurin and the rosengarten” with reinhold
messner and the centenary CD “dj kuhn in the rosengarten”. In addition the project
“l _100 designlab” will get underway, a collaboration with the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen’s
faculty of Design and Art. In this context Hotel Laurin’s garden house will be transformed into a
design studio and the area in front of the hotel entrance will become the stage for an art installation.
The laurin suite@paradeis will open a few weeks later in April – a whole hotel room in
the garden of the Alois Lageder wine estate in the village of Magrè (bookings accepted as of now!
