Nell’utilizzo comune del termine, cuoio e pelle sembrano sinonimi.
Nella lingua Inglese non esistono due termini, ma solo uno: “leather”.
La differenza si trova nel processo della concia, nella lavorazione del
materiale. Il cuoio (vedi Taylord Flat) si presenta più duro, resistente e
spesso. La pelle (Taylord Quilted, Squared) è più morbida con differenze
a livello meccanico rispetto al cuoio, ma più elastica e morbida. Ambedue
sono materiali nobili, igienici e traspiranti.
In the common use “cuoio” and leather seem synonyms. In the English
language there are not two words to express it, but only one: “leather”.
The difference is in the tanning process, in the material manufacturing.
The leather “cuoio” (see Taylord Flat) is hard, resistant and thick. The
leather (Taylord Quilted, Squared) is softer with mechanical differences
compared to the “cuoio”, but more elastic and soft. Both are noble
materials, hygienic and transpirant.

Dans l’utilisation commune les paroles « cuir et peau » peuvent sembler
sionismes. Dans la langue anglaise, il n’y a pas deux mots, mais un seul,
