SIMBOLI
Il triangolo che riporta il punto esclamativo indica all’utilizzatore che ci sono da leggere
importanti operazioni e istruzioni di cura nella documentazione che accompagna il
prodotto.
Il triangolo che riporta il fulmine serve ad indicare all’utilizzatore la presenza di tensione
pericolosa all’interno dell’apparecchio, di entità tale da rappresentare un potenziale
pericolo di scarica elettrica.
Classe I : La spina dell’apparecchio è provvista del polo per la messa a terra. Usarla solo
con prese provviste di messa a terra.
Il bidone barrato indica che il prodotto risponde ai requisiti richiesti dalle nuove direttive
introdotte a tutela dell’ambiente (2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC, 2002/95/EC) e che deve
essere smaltito in modo appropriato al termine del suo ciclo di vita. Chiedere
informazioni alle autorità locali in merito alle zone dedicate allo smaltimento dei rifiuti.
Chi non smaltisce il prodotto seguendo quanto indicato in questo paragrafo ne risponde
secondo le norme vigenti.

Dopo aver tolto l'imballaggio assicurarsi dell'integrità dell'apparecchio. In caso di dubbio non
utilizzare l'apparecchio e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato. Gli elementi
dell'imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espanso, chiodi ecc.) non devono essere lasciati
alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.
Prima di collegare il prodotto accertarsi che i dati di targa siano rispondenti a quelli della rete di
distribuzione elettrica.
In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la spina del prodotto fare sostituire la presa con altra di
tipo adatto da personale professionalmente qualificato. In generale è sconsigliabile l’uso di
adattatori, prese multiple e/o prolunghe. Qualora il loro uso si rendesse indispensabile è
necessario utilizzare solamente adattatori semplici o multipli e prolunghe conformi alle vigenti
norme di sicurezza.
Questo prodotto dovrà essere destinato solo all'uso per il quale è stato espressamente
concepito. Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso. Il costruttore non può
essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni derivati da usi impropri, erronei ed
irragionevoli.
Non lasciare esposto l'apparecchio ad agenti atmosferici (pioggia, sole, ecc.). Non lasciare
l’apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di calore o fiamme libere.

In caso di guasto e/o di cattivo funzionamento dell'apparecchio, spegnerlo e non cercare di
ripararlo. Per l'eventuale riparazione rivolgersi solamente ad un centro autorizzato richiedendo
l'utilizzo di ricambi originali. Il mancato rispetto di questa avvertenza può compromettere la
sicurezza dell'apparecchio.
Qualora si decida di non utilizzare più il prodotto si raccomanda di collocarlo in modo da non

Il pane può bruciare. I tostapane non

raccogli briciole inserito. Il vassoio va

FUNZIONAMENTO

Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente compatibile.
Posizionare il toast o le fette di pane all’interno delle pinze (8) in dotazione.
Selezionare il livello di doratura desiderato agendo sul selettore (5), impostando un valore tra 1
(poco tostato) e 5 (molto tostato). Se si usa il tostapane per la prima volta si consiglia di
scegliere il valore intermedio 3.
Inserire le pinze nelle feritoie (1).
Abbassare la leva di accensione (6) fino a bloccarla nella sua sede. La tostatura inizierà
automaticamente.
NOTA : Se il tostapane non è collegato alla rete, la leva di accensione (6) non si blocca.

Raggiunto il livello di tostatura desiderato, il tostapane si fermerà automaticamente. Il processo
può essere interrotto manualmente premendo il tasto “CANCEL” (4).
Afferrare le pinze dal manico ed estrarle delicatamente. Per estrarre i toast, capovolgerle su un
piatto e aprirle.
ATTENZIONE : Durante la tostatura si consiglia di controllare il tostapane per
evitare principi di fiamma.
FUNZIONE SCONGELAMENTO
Si utilizza questa funzione nel caso, ad esempio, si voglia scongelare del pane surgelato. E’
possibile attivarla semplicemente premendo il tasto (2) dopo aver abbassato la leva (6). Premere il
tasto “Cancel” (4) per interrompere l’operazione.

FUNZIONE RISCALDAMENTO
Si utilizza questa funzione nel caso si voglia semplicemente riscaldare del pane senza tostarlo. E’
possibile attivarla premendo il tasto (3) dopo aver abbassato la leva (6). Premere il tasto “CANCEL”
(4) per interrompere l’operazione.
ATTENZIONE : Nell’eventualità che le fette di pane si attacchino, spegnere il
tostapane, staccare la spina dell’alimentazione e spostare con attenzione il pane
dall’apparecchio assicurandosi di non danneggiare i vari elementi.
PULIZIA
ATTENZIONE : Spegnere il tostapane, staccare la spina ed attendere che si
raffreddi prima di iniziare la pulizia dell’apparecchio.

Per rimuovere le briciole dal tostapane, estrarre il vassoio (7) svuotarlo e pulirlo con cura.
Riposizionare quindi il vassoio nella sua sede.
Pulire il corpo del tostapane con un panno leggermente inumidito con acqua tiepida.
Per pulire l’interno, rovesciare il tostapane e scuoterlo leggermente in modo da far cadere
eventuali residui depositati all’interno. Non introdurre coltelli o altri utensili per pulire le feritoie,
ciò potrebbe danneggiare l’apparecchio.
NON immergere il tostapane in acqua
NON utilizzare agenti abrasivi per pulire l’apparecchio, ciò potrebbe danneggiarne l’estetica.

The triangle with the exclamation point, inside an equilateral triangle, reminds the user
to read the important operation and maintenance instructions in this owner’s guide.
The lightning flash with arrowhead, inside an equilateral triangle, warns the user that
un-insulated dangerous voltage inside the system may cause an electrical shock.
Class I : These appliance has its chassis connected to electrical earth. Always plug the
appliance to grounded electrical outlet.
The dustbin means the product meets the requirements of the legislation that protects

Insert the plug in a suitable power supply socket.
Place the toast or the slices of bread inside the clamps (8).
Chose the desired browning setting, moving the selector (5) from the position 1 (light) to
position 5 (very dark). It’s recommended to select position 3 if this is the first toasting
operation.
Insert the clamps inside the toasting slots (1).
Press down the starting lever (6) until it clicks into place. Toasting cycle will start automatically.
NOTE : If the toaster is not plugged in, the lever (6) will not click into place .

The toaster automatically turns off when the desired toast colour is achieved. The toasting
process can always be stopped by pressing the “Cancel” button (4).
Grab the clamps by the handles and gently pull them out. To take out the toast slices, turn the
clamps upside down over an empty dish.
ATTENTION : While the toaster is working, check it periodically as to prevent fire
hazard.
DEFROST FUNCTION
This function is useful for unfreezing, for instance, the bread. Enable the function by pressing the
defrost button (2) after having pressed down the starting lever (6). Press “Cancel” (4) to disable
the function.

This function is useful for reheating the bread without toasting it. Enable the function by pressing
the reheat button (3) after having pressed down the starting lever (6). Press “Cancel” (4) to
disable the function.
ATTENTION : In the unlikely event that the bread becomes jammed, turn off the
apparatus and unplug it; carefully ease the bread out of the toaster, ensuring not
to damage the elements.

ATTENTION : Always unplug the toaster before starting the cleaning process. Wait
until it has completely cooled down.

To remove any crumbs from the toaster, slide out the tray (7), empty and clean it carefully then
replace it before using it again.
Wipe the outside of the toaster with a slightly damp soft cloth.
To clean the interior, turn the toaster upside down and slightly shake it so to let the crumbs fall
down. Do not introduce knives or other similar metal tools to clean the slots, it could damage
the toaster.
Never immerse the toaster into the water.

Den Toaster an eine vorschriftsmäßige Steckdose anschließen.
Die Brotschieben in die Roste (8) legen.
Die gewünschten Bräunungsgrad durch die Betätigungstaste (5) einstellen, Sie können
zwischen 5 Bräunungsstufen (1-5) wählen. Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme es ist ratsam eine
mittlere Einstellung (3) zu wählen.
Die Roste in den Rostschacht legen (1).
Die Bedientaste (6) nach unten drücken bis es einrastet. Der Toastvorgang beginnt
automatisch.
BEACHTEN SIE : Die Bedientaste (6) rastet nur bei angeschlossener Netzleitung ein!

Ist der eingestellte Bräunungsgrad erreicht, schaltet sich der Toaster automatisch ab. Möchten
Sie den Toastvorgang unterbrechen, die STOPP- Taste (4) drücken. Der Toaster schaltet ab.
Die Roste greifen und vom Röstschacht herausnehmen.
ACHTUNG : Während des Betriebs das Gerät immer beaufsichtigen, damit die
Entstehung eines Feuers zu vermeiden.
DEFROSTERFUNKTION
Wenn Sie gefrorenes Toastbrot verwenden, können Sie die Defroster-Funktion benutzen. Betätigen
Sie nach dem Beginn des Toastvorganges durch leichten Druck der Defrostertaste (2) (die
Kontrolllampe zeigt die Funktion an). Möchten Sie den Defrostervorgang unterbrechen, die STOPPTaste (4) drücken.

AUFWÄRMFUNKTION
Mit der Aufwärmstufe können Sie das Brot aufwärmen. Wärmen Sie kein mit Butter usw.
bestrichenes Brot auf! Die Aufwärmfunktion können Sie nach Beginn des Toastvorganges durch
leichten Druck der Aufwärmtaste (3) betätigen (die Kontrolllampe zeigt die Funktion an). Möchten
Sie den Aufwärmvorgang unterbrechen, die STOPP- Taste (4) drücken.
ACHTUNG : Wenn das Brot klebt an, den Toaster ausschalten, den Netzstecker
ziehen und die Brotschieben vorsichtig herausnehmen. Dabei die Heizkörper nicht
berühren.
REINIGUNG
ACHTUNG : Vor der Reinigung den Toaster ausschalten, den Netzstecker ziehen
und den Toaster abkühlen lassen.

Beim Toasten sammeln sich abfallende Krümel in der Krümelschublade. Ziehen Sie zum
Entfernen der Krümel die Krümelschublade seitlich heraus. Die Krümelschublade reinigen und
wieder ins Gehäuse einsetzen.
Das Gehäuse reinigen Sie außen mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Lappen.
Den Toaster umkippen und leicht schütteln, damit die Innenseite des Toasters zu reinigen.
Nicht mit Gegenständen z.B. Gabel, Messer in den Röstschacht reinigen.
Der Toaster darf aus Gründen der elektrischen Sicherheit nicht mit Flüssigkeiten behandelt oder
gar darin eingetaucht werden.
Keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

Branchez l’appareil à la prise de courant.
Mettez les tranches de pain dans les grilles (8) du grille-pain.
Régler la cuisson en bougeant le sélecteur (5); il est possible de régler le bouton sur 5 degrés de
cuisson différentes (1-peu grillé ; 5-trop grillé). A la première utilisation nous vous conseillons de
régler le sélecteur sur le position 3.
Insérez les grilles à l’intérieur des fentes (1) du grille-pain.
Abaissez le levier d’allumage (6) jusqu’à ce qu’il reste bloqué. Le grillage commence
automatiquement.
NOTE : Si l’appareil n’est pas branché au réseau, le levier (6) ne se bloque pas.

L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement lorsqu’on a atteint le degré de cuisson désiré. Pour
interrompre la cuisson, appuyer sur la touche stop chauffage (4).
Saisir les grilles par la poignée et enlevez-les délicatement.
ATTENTION : Nous vous conseillons de surveiller toujours le grille-pain pendant la
cuisson pour prévenir tout début du feu.
FONCTION DÉCONGÉLATION
Il est possible d’utiliser cette fonction pour décongeler de pain surgelé en appuyant la touche (2)
immédiatement après avoir abaissé le levier (6). Pour interrompre la décongélation, appuyez sur la
touche « Cancel » (4).

Il est possible d’utiliser cette fonction pour chauffer de pain en appuyant la touche (3)
immédiatement après avoir abaissé le levier (6). Pour interrompre le chauffage, appuyez sur la
touche « Cancel » (4).
ATTENTION : Si les tranches du pain ont attaché, éteignez l’appareil, débranchez-le
de la prise de courant et retirez le pain délicatement sans endommager l’intérieur
de l’appareil.
NETTOYAGE
ATTENTION : Avant de procéder au nettoyage, éteignez toujours l’appareil,
débranchez-le de la prise de courant et attendre qu’il ait refroidi.

Pour enlever les miettes du grille-pain, retirez le tiroir ramasse-miettes (7), videz-le et nettoyezle soigneusement; depuis insérez-le dans son emplacement.
Nettoyer de temps en temps l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un linge humide.
Pour nettoyer l’intérieur de l’appareil, retourner et secouer doucement pour faire tomber les
miettes. Ne jamais utiliser d’ustensiles métalliques ou à pointe pour nettoyer les parties internes
de l’appareil.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou autres liquides.
N’utilisez pas de détergents abrasifs qui abiment les surfaces.
