Proprietà Apoptotiche di IGF-1bp3
Igf-1bp3 ha un potente effetto anticancro
perchè attiva i death receptors sul cancerocita e
poi i recettori al retinolo ed al retinoide x che
apoptosizzano i cancerociti.
Sono gli unici a farlo senza l'intervento dei
mitocondri.
Questo è anche l'effetto anticancro dei flavonoidi
(ACE-inibitori che chelano lo zinco dell'enzima
convertitore), non per l'effetto antiossidante.
