FS Logistica Company details
The State Railways Group's logistics services are outsourced to FS Logistica spa.
FS LOGISTICA has been created in 2008
Integration, systems view, synergy, optimization of resources and service quality are
the watchwords that guide the mission of FS Logistica toward achieving three
fundamental objectives:
• improving and developing the provision of service;
• create a network of logistics functional rail, in partnership with national and
international logistics operators;
• create the conditions for competitors to compete with European dimensions.
The Company owns logistics infrastructure throughout the country.
Moreover, FS Logistica operates in the market services by using its Business
Unit. The areas of main activities are petrochemical, environment and land
management (BU Chemical Industry and Environment), steel (BU Steel), that of
large institutional clients (Omniaexpress BU) and the distribution and logistics of
consumer goods, made ItaliaLogistica through the new company, a joint venture
with the Italian Post Office Group.





