TX and TP MODELS
These models are particularly suitable for
all heavy multi-ply webs and they are
provided with bobbin edge-binding which
carries the spool with the catch-thread, up
and down, alternatively through the
inserted weft-yarn.
The spool has a high capacity which
allows long runs between changes and it
releases its yarn through several tension
control units, to ensure perfect edgebinding.
A photoelectric cell monitors the amount
of yarn left on the spool and stops the
loom before it runs out.
Range of final applications: sling
webbings, freight lashing belts, brake
linings, sifter tapes, military webbings
solid woven fabrics, filters and all other
industrial applications.
Available for fabrics up to 320 mm. wide.
TXA MODELS
These models have a similar range of
applicability to the above (TX and TP) and
the main difference consists in the edgebinding which, for the TXA models, is the
latch-needle system. Here, a latch-needle
is used to pick-up and knit any of the
following combinations :
¥ The weft itself.
¥ A separate additional Catch-thread
taken from a cone.
¥ A combination of the above systems,
where the catch-thread is used to lock
he knitting of the weft.
¥ A system which adds one more catchthread to the above, to Òdouble lockÓ
the weft.
Weaving speeds achieved with the latchneedle versions are generally higher than
the bobbin ones.
Available for fabrics up to 360 mm. wide
TM MODELS
This is the latest addition to Metag range,
specifically designed for medium-heavy
fabrics such as sling-webs, freight lashings,
military belts and convejor belting, rigid or
elastic.
The same principles used in the other
models can be found in the TM but
arranged to give higher weaving speeds.

construction of looms for heavy webbings
and for special fabrics, built also to clientÕs
own specifications.
The looms are available in 3 models :
TX-TP with bobbin edge binding
for heavy and special webs.
TXA
with latch-needle edge, also
for heavy and special webs.
TM
with latch-needle edge, for
the higher speed production
of medium or heavy webs.
They are uniquely built for weaving multiply high density webs in most yarns,
including the usual synthetics as well as
the unusual such as ceramic, glass,
asbestos, aramidic and of course, the
natural fibers such as cotton and jute.
The machines are engineered for strength
and they are designed in order to be
simple to get-into, easy to adjust, safe (CE
approved) while modern material studies
and design techniques ensure the highly
efficient output of heavy and special webs.
The mechanical components are
deliberately over-sized to withstand the
enourmous pounding required for the
heaviest webs, which were obtained
until now only on traditional shuttle-looms.

SERIE TX e TP
I telai della serie TX-TP sono indicati per
la tessitura di tutti i nastri pesanti e multistrato e sono dotati di spola-bobina per la
legatura del bordo. La spola-bobina, sulla
quale • avvolto il filo ausiliario di legatura,
si muove di moto verticale alternato. Essa
ha una grande capacitˆ di filo tale da permettere una operativitˆ oraria elevata.
Tale spola • provvista di diverse frenature
e compensazioni, per ottenere una ottimale regolazione della tensione, quindi
una perfetta qualitˆ del bordo legato. La
quantitˆ del filo bobina • controllato da
una fotocellula che interrompe il funzionamento del telaio prima dellÕesaurimento
dello stesso.
Applicazione finale dei prodotti:
nastri ad impiego tecnico-industriale,
nastri per freni industriali, cinghie per sollevamento, nastri trasportatori, cinghie
per uso militare, filtri, ecc.
I telai serie TX e TP sono disponibili per

SERIE TXA
Essi sono simili alla serie precedente, ma
ne differiscono solo per la legatura ad ago
del bordo. Tale sistema viene effettuato a
mezzo di un ago, il quale aggancia la
trama e/o il filo di apporto ausiliario. Sono
disponibili diversi sistemi di aggancio
della trama :
¥ Legatura della sola trama
¥ Legatura del filo dÕapporto ausiliario
¥ Legatura di trama e di un filo ausiliario
¥ Legatura di due fili dÕapporto ausiliari.
Mediamente la velocitˆ di tessitura •

Questa recente ed innovativa serie di telai
Metag, • particolarmente adatta alla tessitura di nastri medio-pesanti, quali cinghie
di sollevamento carichi, nastri militari,

Usano la stessa superba tecnologia
costruttiva delle serie TX-TP e TXA, ma
hanno maggiori velocitˆ di tessitura.

Tutti i telai METAG nascono dalla

Tutte le sopradescritte macchine sono
particolarmente indicate per la tessitura di
nastri pesanti, speciali e multistrato, con
tutti i tipi di filato (sintetici, cotone, juta,
ceramica fibra di vetro, amianto, aramidici,
acciaio, PAN, ecc.) anche ad altissima
densitˆ di fili dÕordito.
La facilitˆ di regolazione, la sicurezza
attiva e passiva (marchio CE), la massima
funzionalitˆ meccanica e di progetto,
lÕaccessibilitˆ, lÕuso di moderne tecniche
costruttive e di materiali ad alto contenuto
tecnologico, attribuiscono a tutta la
gamma dei telai METAG un alto
rendimento per una moderna ed efficiente
tessitura di nastri tecnici e speciali.
Tutte le parti meccaniche sono
sovradimensionate al fine di affrontare gli
