PROCESSIONE CORPUS
CORPUS PROCESSION
Today Sunday, the Solemnity of the
Most Holy Body and Blood of
Christ,
we are planning a short
procession “around the block” with the
Blessed Sacrament. This will begin at
approximately 10 a.m. In a special
way, we are inviting this year’s First
Communion Children to participate.
Siamo cercando di programmare una
piccola processione col Santissimo in
zona nella ricorrenza della solennità
del Corpo e Sangue di Cristo.
Prevediamo l’inizio subito dopo la
prima Messa. V’invitiamo a partecipare in questo momento di
devozione verso il nostro Signore, alimentazione per la
nostra anima.
Invitiamo i bambini della Prima Comunione a partecipare,
vestiti come nel giorno del sacramento.
PELLEGRINAGGIO AL SANTUARIO DEI MARTIRI
La Commissione Pastorale Italiana
organizza per il 2014 il seguente
pellegrinaggio per tutte le parrocchie
con comunità italiana:
Al Santuario dei Martiri di Midland,
DOM 29 GIUGNO
Programma:
ore 10:30 am – Processione con la
statua della Santa Famiglia dalla sua
cappella sulla collina all’altare, seguita
dalla solenne Santa Messa
ore 2:30 pm – Adorazione del
Santissimo Sacramento seguita dalla
processione sulla collina e cerimonia
di chiusura.

BULLETIN PUBLICATION – IL BOLLETTINO
We are now approaching the summer season which marks
the end of the school year as well as many other
programmes offered around the city. Some of our
parishioners will be taking advantage of the warm weather
and leave for their cottages or on vacations. Subsequently,
we have come to the realisation that the weekly publication of
the bulletin will not be necessary during the summer months.
These are the dates when the bulletin will be published:
July 6th and August 10th
We will resume to the weekly publishing of the bulletin
starting September 7th, 2013. Please note that nothing
else has changed -- Mass times and parish office hours
remain the same.
Ci stiamo avvicinando alla stagione estiva che segna la fine
dell'anno scolastico, e anche la fine di molti altri programmi
offerti nella nostra comunità. Alcuni dei nostri parrocchiani
approfittando del clima caldo, ci lasciano per andare altrove
in vacanza. Stiamo per ridurre la pubblicazione settimanale
del bollettino. Il bollettino non sarà necessario di pubblicarlo
tutti le settimana durante i mesi estivi. Queste sono le date in
cui il bollettino sarà pubblicato:
il 6 luglio, e il 10 agosto.
Riprenderemo la pubblicazione settimanale del bollettino l’7
settembre 2014. Si prega di notare che nient'altro è
cambiato – gli orari delle messe e dell’ufficio
parrocchiale rimangono gli stessi.
AROUND THE PARISH – IN PARROCCHIA
This past week we have been busy with School Year
Closing Masses for both our schools: St Francis of Assisi
and St Luke.
These came shortly after the parish
celebrations of First Holy Communion and Confirmation
which included students from both these school – about 100
families were involved.
We also had a formation meeting for our Parish Council on
Tuesday evening – in spite of the rain. On Wednesday our
St Vincent de Paul had a seminar in our hall. This seminar
was aimed doing ongoing training in their ministry.
Finiti le feste della Prima Comunione e la Cresima, le
nostre scuole sono venute per le SS Messe di chiusure
dell’anno scolastico. Sono stati organizzati in questi giorni
degli incontri formativi per il Consiglio Parrocchiale e per
i membri della Società di San Vincenzo de Paoli.

SOLEMN EUCHARISTIC ADORATION WITH
CARDINAL COLLINS LEADING YOUTH EVENT
The Office of Catholic Youth invites you to
join His Eminence Thomas Cardinal
Collins for Solemn Eucharistic Adoration
on Saturday, June 28 from 7 – 8:30 pm
at St Paul’s Basilica, 83 Power Street,
Toronto.
Cardinal Collins will lead a Holy Hour
and reflection. Afterwards, there will be a social for young
adults in the parish hall downstairs.

The Archdiocese of Toronto will be hosting the Steubenville
Youth Conference from July 4-6 which will take place at the
Mattamy Athelic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens).
Steubenville runs a high-energy conference experience
employing high-caliber Catholic speakers and musicians. Their
purpose is to bring high school age youth back to sacramental
living. It draws thousands of young people together to discover
the richness of the Catholic Church through prayer, praise and
reflection.

During the days of “Steubenville Toronto” we would like to
welcome Fr Alvin Te our vocation director and Fr Phil
Pacheco, one of our young Franciscan friars. Fr Conrad will
be joining them for part of the conference.
EXTRAORDINARY CHAPTER
The Franciscan Friars of
the Immaculate Conception Province will be
meeting at Mt Alvernia,
Wappingers Falls in
upper New York State
for an Extraordinary
Provincial Chapter from
June 23 -25.
In Canada and the USA our friars are engaged in looking at our
presence and formal structures and dialoguing on the best way
to be present in the coming years. The spread of our
membership and the realities of age are realities that invite us
to visioning for the future. We kindly ask you to remember us in
your prayers.

raduneranno al convento di Monte Alvernia fuori di New York
City per il capitolo straordinario provinciale. I frati di Canada e
del USA stanno facendo un esame dell’impostazione della
nostra ordine per un ristrutturazione più valida nella situazione
che prevediamo nel prossimo futuro. Vi chiediamo gentilmente
