The power of Made in Italy
In the occasion of the 82nd edition of the
MotorShow in Geneve (from 8th to 18th March
2012), two big names of Made-in-Italy production,
Lanificio Cerruti and Bertone, will start a
collaboration able to join motors and textiles in a
unique project dedicated to Italian excellence.
From this partnership, a numbered limited-edition
pure cashmere coat has born. Just 5 samples are
exhibited at the Swiss Motor-Show. The coat, made
of soft precious cashemere with exclusive finishes
of Bertone historical prints, has been created by
Lanificio Cerruti which dedicated it to the popular
automotive firm. As a result, we have an unlined
coat getting suitable for a sportive look.
Thanks to the lucky meeting of the two world Italian style’s masters, Lilli Bertone and
Nino Cerruti, the excellence of Made-in-Italy defines its important role at the Motor-Show.
This represents an acknoledgement in the joining of search and tradition as traslation of
the unmistakable Italian style.
Passion, commitment and evolution stories, told through the elegance of textiles and the
unmistakable motor’s roar.
Bertone, historical firm of Turin, has produced innovative and extraordinary body-works for the most
luxurious cars since 1912. The firm will introduce as a world preview, a concept car realized at the
MotorShow in occasion of the Centenary: the Nuccio car. An extreme sportive, optimally working car with
central back engine which represents the final result of a past project of Nuccio Bertone called Stratos Zero.
A tribute to the past without abandoning innovation.
Today’s Bertone is a modern industrial group, which has expanded its interests even in key sectors for the
evolution of global economic sceneries, from ICT (Information Communication, Technologies) to the search
of sustainable development.
Lanificio F.lli Cerruti S.p.A. was founded in 1881 in Biella, the cradle of the Italian textile tradition, by brothers
Stefano, Antonio and Quintino Cerruti, who came from a long line of textile devotees dating back to 1700.
The company expanded steadily over time and from the second postwar period focused production
exclusively on the highest quality fabrics.
Since 1951 the woollen mill, with a workforce today of around 400 – is run by Nino Cerruti today, after 40
years as a major fashion label, has transferred his own experience into the collection of fabrics for Men,
Women and Parcour intended for a more discerning and fulfilled clientele.
Nino Cerruti, with his son Julian and the entire manufacturing company add a touch life with an alchemy of
tireless creativity, constant innovation and pure excellence. The most-sought after fibres, artisan perfection
and the cloth that becomes art, are the result of continuous striving for beauty and expression with the
changing of the times. These are the products of the Lanificio F.lli Cerruti which has conveyed handmade
perfection for the most prized fibres, the main ingredient of that wonderful world called fashion for over 300
years.

La forza del made in Italy
In occasione della 82esima edizione del MotoShow di
Ginevra, (8-18 marzo 2012) due grandi nomi del
made in Italy, Lanificio Cerruti e Bertone, danno vita
ad una collaborazione che unisce motori e tessuti in
un unico progetto dedicato all’eccellenza italiana.
Nasce così una giacca in puro cashmere in edizione
numerata limitata, esposta in 5 pezzi al salone
automobilistico svizzero. Un capo creato dal Lanificio
Cerruti dedicato all’azienda automobilistica, un
morbido e prezioso cachemire, con rifiniture esclusive
di stampe storiche della Bertone, per una giacca
sfoderata che diventa così ideale per un uso sportivo.
Grazie al fortunato incontro di due maestri dello stile italiano nel mondo, Lilli Bertone e
Nino Cerruti, l’eccellenza del made in Italy conferma il suo importante ruolo al Salone
dell’Auto, un riconoscimento frutto di tradizione e ricerca tradotti nell’inconfondibile stile
italiano.
Storie di passione, dedizione ed evoluzione raccontate attraverso l’eleganza dei tessuti e
l’inconfondibile rombo dei motori.
Bertone, storica azienda torinese, dal 1912 produce innovative e spettacolari carrozzerie per le automobili
più lussuose, presenterà in anteprima mondiale al Salone dell’Auto una concept car realizzata per il
Centenario: la Nuccio. Una sportiva estrema, perfettamente funzionante, a motore posteriore centrale, che
sviluppa in chiave evolutiva un progetto che fu dello stesso Nuccio Bertone, la Stratos Zero. Un omaggio al
passato senza rinunciare all’innovazione.
La Bertone di oggi è un gruppo industriale moderno, che ha ampliato i suoi interessi anche in settori chiave
per l’evoluzione degli scenari economici globali, dall’ICT (Information Communication Technologies) alla

Il Lanificio F.lli Cerruti S.p.A. nasce nel 1881 a Biella, culla della tradizione tessile italiana, ad opera dei
fratelli Stefano, Antonio e Quintino Cerruti, discendenti da una famiglia dedita alla tessitura fin dal 1700.
L’azienda cresce costantemente nel tempo e a partire dal secondo dopoguerra focalizza la produzione
esclusivamente sui tessuti di altissima qualità. Da 1951 il Lanificio – che conta oggi circa 400 dipendenti - è
diretto da Nino Cerruti il quale oggi, dopo 40 anni come grande firma della moda, trasferisce la propria
esperienza nelle collezioni di tessuti Uomo, Donna e Parcour destinati alla più esigente e sofisticata
clientela. Nino Cerruti, con il figlio Julian e l’intera azienda manifatturiera danno vita ad un’alchimia di
inesauribile creatività, costante innovazione e pura eccellenza. Le fibre più ricercate, la perfezione
artigianale e la stoffa che diventa arte, in una continua ricerca di bellezza ed espressione dell’evoluzione dei
