GENERAL
The Fitre protectors of the PR159A/220 series have
been specially designed for utilisation in the
telecommunications, electronic, telematic, computer,
electromedical fields as well as for many others
applications.
The Fitre PR159A/220 is a integral protection for 220 Vac
power lines, provided with a thermic switching device
complete with manual reset (button).
The protector is also provided with luminous indication
and additional fuse as further protection in case of
inversion of the phases.
The PR159A/220 are supplied with nominal powers of
125 - 400 - 1250 VA.
FUNCTIONALITY
In case of overvoltage the thermic device operates
opening the line and, in the meantime, the luminous
indication will be automatically switched off.
The reset is made by the user pushing the button present
on the front of the protector, in the same way of the
automatic switch for domestic use.
The presence of technical staff is not required.
The protector PR159A/220, at the contrary of other
protectors usually sold in the market, is provided with
swithcing devices on both the A-B wires.
In this way it allows to protects the line also when, during
installation or maintenance operations on the power
network, the correct connection of the wires (phase and
neutral wire) is not respected.
Only in this case should be necessary to change the fuse.
