Wie die meisten der im Radsport eingesetzten Komponenten, sind Pedale und sonstige Bestandteile von Look für eine normale Benutzung vorgesehen.
Die Verbindung mehrerer Faktoren, wie zum Beispiel ein Körpergewicht von über 100 kg oder
eine große Muskelmasse sowie das Pedalieren mit ausgeprägter Auswärtsdrehung (mit Druck hin
zum äußeren Bereich des Pedals) können zu anormalen Ermüdungserscheinungen des Materials
führen und Risiken in Zusammenhang mit Materialbrüchen und Unfällen erhöhen.
Sportlern, die in diese Kategorien fallen, wird daher dringend geraten, einen Ergonomiker oder
Facharzt zur Kontrolle ihrer Position aufzusuchen.

El estándar Kéo ha sido desarrollado con el objetivo de minimizar el peso y el volumen
del conjunto cala/pedal, siendo a la vez compatible con todas las zapatillas del mercado.
La cinemática de funcionamiento es idéntica al estándar DELTA, el calzado y el descalzado
siguen siendo pues seguros y muy eficaces.

• La línea de eje está compuesta por un rodamiento de bola (10 mm interior x 19 mm
exterior) que soporta las cargas axiales y por un casquillo de aguja que soporta las cargas
radiales.
• Los ejes LOOK sólo se validan después de una prueba de rotación de 1 millón de ciclos a
100 rpm con una carga de 90kg en el centro del pedal y una rotación descentrada (lo que
crea un choque en cada vuelta).
Esta prueba es muy superior a la norma más estricta vigente: la EN10478l.

El conjunto de varios factores, peso superior a 100 kg o musculatura importante y empuje excesivo en el pedaleo hacia el exterior que pueden crear situaciones de fatiga anormal y aumentar
los riesgos de rotura de material y de accidente.
Se aconseja encarecidamente a los deportistas que entren en estas categorías que consulten a un
ergónomo o a un médico especializado para controlar su posición.

ergonomo o un medico specialista per controllare la loro posizione.
