The P.T.O. multiplier gear box is designed to couple Hawk pumps H450, H500, H600 and H700 to low-speed tractor power take-off. Standard power take-off 540 RPM
speed is increased to best speed conditions for the pumps. Different input speed is acceptable under condition that output speed does not exceed 1400 RPM.
Moltiplicatore progettato per accoppiamento delle pompe Hawk H450, H500, H600 e H700 alla presa di forza dei trattori. La velocità standard di 540 giri/min viene aumentata
dal moltiplicatore al valore ottimale per il buon funzionamento delle pompe. Diversi valori di velocità sono accettati entro il limite massimo di 1400 giri/min in uscita.

1. System operation of your pump must not exceed the rated RPM, and pressure
stated for the specific model in the manual.
2. Your pump must be installed horizontal to its base to receive optimum lubrification.
3. The inlet piping to your pump must be sized to the volume you desire. The
plumbing diameter should not be less than the size of the port of the pump. Use
as few restrictons (elbow, tees, reducers, etc...) as possible to avoid cavitations
(air in the system). Any joint in the inlet plumbing must be tightly sealed with
teflon tape or similar product to avoid leaking and/or cavitation. Provide for a
filter to collect impurities.
4. The outlet plumbing must be suitable to withstand the working pressure of the
pump. Undersized plumbing can result in low discharge pressure.
5. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE YOUR PUMP WITHOUT A SAFETY PRESSURE
RELIEF VALVE TO PROTECT AGAINST SYSTEM PRESSURE BUILDUP THAT CAN
CAUSE SEVERE PUMPING SYSTEM DAMAGE AND POSSIBLE BODILY INJURY.
CONSULT YOUR DISTRIBUTOR FOR THE CORRECT CHOICE OF A PROPER SAFETY
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE.
6. For direct drive applications with an electric motor, it is advisable to use proper
elastic coupling. When using pulleys, make sure that they are properly aligned
and provide for adequate safety protection.
7. Before running the pump, check that oil level is correct. It is recommended that
the initial fill of crankcase oil be changed within the first 25 hours of pump
operations and that regular changes of oil be made at intervals of 300 hours or
less, depending upon system operating conditions.
8. Facilitate the running of the pump by keeping the water inlet open. Do not run
the pump dry; this will cause the packing to fail prematurely and will void your
warranty. Make certain that the inlet filter is clean.
9. After use, if chemicals have been used, run the pump with clean water for a few
minutes. Do not expose your pump to freezing temperatures. To prevent freezup,
run your pump dry for approximately twenty seconds to void the pumping media.
1. La pompa non deve essere utilizzata a valori di pressione e con velocità di rotazione
superiori a quelli previsti, per ogni singolo modello, in questo manuale.
2. La pompa deve essere installata orizzontalmente rispetto alla base per favorire
una lubrificazione ottimale.
3. Il condotto di aspirazione della pompa deve essere proporzionato alla portata
e comunque con diametri di passaggio non inferiori a quello della bocca di
aspirazione. E’ importante che questo condotto presenti meno strozzature possibili
(gomiti, raccordi a T, riduzioni, etc...). Ogni giunzione del condotto di aspirazione
deve essere adeguatamente serrata con nastro di teflon o prodotto similare, per
evitare perdite o aspirazione d’aria (cavitazione). Prevedete un filtro per trattenere
le impurità.
4. Il condotto di mandata deve essere adatto a resistere alle pressioni di lavoro della
pompa. Passaggi troppo stretti possono provocare perdite di pressione alla lancia.
5. PER PREVENIRE INFORTUNI ALLE PERSONE E DANNI ALLA POMPA, E’
INDISPENSABILE INSTALLARE UNA VALVOLA DI REGOLAZIONE E DI SICUREZZA
PER EVITARE CHE LA PRESSIONE POSSA SUPERARE ACCIDENTALMENTE IL
VALORE D’ ESERCIZIO. PER LA SCELTA DI QUESTE VALVOLE CONSULTATE IL
VOSTRO DISTRIBUTORE.
6. Per l’accoppiamento diretto con il motore elettrico è consigliabile l’uso di un
adeguato giunto elastico. Nella trasmissione con pulegge, assicurare l’allineamento
delle medesime ed un’adeguata protezione di sicurezza.
7. Prima della messa in moto, assicuratevi che l’olio sia al giusto livello. Si consiglia
di effettuare il primo cambio dell’olio entro le prime 25 ore di funzionamento ed
i successivi cambi ogni 300 ore; più spesso in caso di uso gravoso.
8. Dopo la messa in moto, agevolate l’adescamento tenendo aperta la mandata.
Evitate che la pompa funzioni a secco; ciò può causare una veloce usura delle
guarnizioni e annullare la garanzia.
9. Dopo l’uso, se si utilizzano prodotti chimici, fate funzionare la pompa con acqua
pulita per alcuni minuti. Non esponete la Vs pompa a temperature troppo basse.
Per prevenire il congelamento, fate funzionare la pompa a secco per circa 20
secondi per svuotare i tubi.

Hawk International products are warranted by the manufacturer LEUCO S.p.A. to
be free from defects in workmanship and materials of constructions for a period of
(1) one year from the date of shipment from the manufacturer.This Warranty is
limited to repairing and replacing products based upon manufacturer’s shipment.
All products subject to this limited warranty shall be returned prepaid for inspection,
repair or replacement by the manufacturer.
The express limited warranty set forth herein is in lieu of all other warranties, express
or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability or fitness
for particular purpose and all such warranties are hereby disclaimed and excluded
by the manufacturer.
Repair or replacement of defective products as provided in the sole exclusive remedy
provided hereunder and the manufacturer shall not be liable for any further loss,
damages or expenses, including incidental and consequential damages, directly or
indirectly arising from the sale or use of this product.
Unauthorized use of replacement parts not originally supplied by the manufacturer
automatically voids this limited warranty. This warranty is subject to installation and
operating instructions as specified in this Manual. There are no warranties which
extend beyond the description of the face hereof.

quantité. En case d’emploi d’eau salée et de produits chimiques agressifs, veuillez
consulter le distributeur.
Die Hawk Hochdruckpumpen sind für Süßwasserbetrieb mit gering dosierten Additiven
ausgelegt. Vor Einsatz mit Salzwasser, bzw. chemisch aggressiven Additiven ist der
Hawk Grosshandler, bzw. die jeweilige Generalvertretung anzusprechen. Sollten
Ihnen diese Schritte nicht klar sein, halten Sie bitte Rücksprache mit Ihrem Grosshandler.

1. Assurez-vous que la pompe choisie soit installée conformément aux normes de
sécurité et corresponde aux pression et vitesse spécifiées dans la notice d’utilisation.
2. Pour une bonne lubrification, les pompes doivent être installées horizontalement
par leur base.
3. Le tuyau d’arrivée d’eau doit être d’en diamètre adéquat en fonction de la
pompe. Pour éviter toute cavitation dans la pompe, le passage d’eau dans le
tuyau doit être libre (éviter tout étranglement, coudes, raccord en T, réductions,
etc...). Assurez l’étanchéité parfaite des joints de la conduite d’aspiration en
employant du ruban teflon ou similaire. Il est indispensable d’installer un filtre a
l’entrée du tuyau d’eau pour éviter que toute impureté pénètre dans celle-ci.
4. Il est aussi important de rapporter l’installation hydraulique de refoulement du
système au débit de la pompe. Une installation hydraulique non-proportionnée
peut empêcher le dégagement de la pression de travail voulue.
5. NE JAMAIS FAIRE FONCTIONNER LA POMPE SANS SOUPAPE DE REGLEGE
(PRESSION ET SECURITE); CECI EST UNE PROTECTION CONTRE TOUS LES
ACCIDENTS DE PRESSION QUI POURRAIENT ENDOMMAGER LA POMPE ET ÊTRE
DANGEREUX POUR L‘UTILISATEUR.
Consultez votre distributeur pour le choix de la soupape de réglage de pression.
6. Pour entraîner la pompe directement avec le moteur, il est conseillé d’utiliser des
accouplements élastiques recommandés par nous et proportionnés a la puissance.
Pour tout entraînement par poulie-courroie, s’assurer du bon alignement des
poulies.
7. Avant la mise en route de la pompe, s’assurer que le niveau d’huile soit correct.
Procéder au replacement de l’huile après les premières 25 heures de marche puis
toutes les 300 heures.
8. Pour la mise en fonctionnement et pour faciliter l’amorçage de l’eau dans la
pompe, laisser, si possible, la lance ouverte. Ne pas laisser la pompe en marche
sans l’alimenter en eau; une pompe fonctionnant à sec pourrait engendrer une
usure prématurée des joints, et, par conséquent, annuler la garantie. Bien s’assurer
que le filtre d’aspiration soit propre.
9. Après l’emploi de produits chimiques avec passage dans la pompe faire marcher
celle-ci avec de l’eau propre pendant quelques minutes. En case de stockage
prolongé et surtout avant l’hiver, laisser tourner la pompe sans eau pendant 20
ou 25 secondes pour la vidanger.

3. Das Ansaugsystem muss auf die Liter-Minuten-Leistung der Pumpe abgestimmt
sein. Der Durchmesser der Ansaugöffnung ist so auszulegen, dass er über dem
des Durchgangs liegt. Die Bildung von Luftsäcken/Lufteinschlussen durch stark
verdrehte oder verknäulte Drückschläuche bzw. Undichtigkeiten ist durch
Teflonbänder oder anderes geeignetes Dichtungsmaterial zu verhindern. Bei stark
verschmutztem Wasser wird empfohlen, einen Filter vorzuschalten.
4. Der Durchmesser der Auslassleitung ist auf der Liter-Minuten-Leisstung des Systems
abzustimmen um eine Verringerung des Arbeitsdrucks durch eine zu klein
dimensionierte Auslassleitung zu vermeiden.
5. DIE PUMPE DARF NICHT OHNE DRUCKAUSLASSVENTIL UND SICHERHEITSVENTIL
IN BETRIEB GENOMMEN WERDEN, DENN FUNKTIONSBEDINGTE DRUCKSCHLÄGE
KÖNNEN IMMER WIEDER AUFTRETEN. DIES ZUR VERMEIDUNG MÖGLICHER
SACH-UND PERSONENSCHÄDEN. Wir bzw. Ihr Grosshandler beraten Sie gerne.
6. Für das Assembling eines direckt angekuppelten Motors werden eine elastische
Kupplung und Flansch empfohlen. Bei Keilriemenantrieb ist ein normagerechter
Transmissionsschutz vorzusehen.
7. Vor Inbetriebnahme Ölstand kontrollieren. Es wird angeraten, die erste Ölfüllung
innerhalb der ersten 25 Betriebsbedingungen.
8. Nach dem Anlauf ordnungsgemässes Ansaugen bei geoffneterDruckleitung
sicherzustellen. Trockenlauf der Pumpe vermeiden. Falls die Pumpe trocken laufen
sollte, werden die Dichtungen vorzeitig aus und Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Filter sauber ist.
9. Bei Verwendung von Additiven, chemischen Reinigungsmitteln u.s.w. wird nach
dem Gebrauch der Pumpe dringend empfohlen, sie für einige Minuten mit reinem
Wasser zwecks Reinigung laufen zu lassen. Setzen Sie die Pumpe nicht Temperaturen
um den Gefrierpunkt aus. Das Einfrieren kann evtl. vermeidet werden, wenn Sie
die Pumpe annähernd 20 Sekunden trocken lassen, bis der volle Wasserstrahl
gegeben ist. Gelingt dies nicht, Aggregat langsam in temperiertem Raum auftaunen
lassen.

Diese Garantie beschränkt sich auf die Reparatur und den Ersatz von Teilen oder
Produkten, die nach dem unanfechtbaren Ermessen der Fa. LEUCO S.p.a. bereits
bei Erhalt als mangelhaft festgestellt werden. Alle Produkte, die dieser beschränkten
Garantie unterliegen, sind zur Überprüfung, Reparatur oder zum Ersatz dem Hersteller
mit im Voraus bezahlter Fracht zurückzusenden.
Die hier festgesetzte beschränkte Garantie ist die einzig gültige und ersetzt jede
andere ausdrückliche oder stillschweigende Garantie, einschließlich aller Garantien
zur Verkaufbarkeit oder Eignung für besondere Zwecke. Solche Garantien werden
mit der vorliegenden Erklärung zurückgewiesen und vom Hersteller ausgeschlossen.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA INSTALACIÓN Y USO
Las bombas HAWK están construídas para bombear agua limpia ducle o agua
mezclada con diferentes productos de adición agregados en bajos porcentajes. En
los casos de empleo con agua salada o productos químicos agresivos y en el caso
en que los puntos ilustrados a continuación no estuvien claros, consulten a su
distribudor.
ATENCIÓN: UNA INSTALACIÓN INCORRECTA DEL SISTEMA DE BOMBEO PUEDE
CAUSAR ACCIDENTES A LAS PERSONAS Y DAÑOS MATERIALES.
1. La bomba no debe ser utilizada a presiones o revoluciones superiores a las
previstas en este manual para cada modelo.
2. La bomba debe ser instalada horizontalmente respecto a la base para favorecer
una lubricación óptima.
3. El conducto de aspiración de la bomba debe ser del mismo diámetro o mayor al
de la boca de aspiración, nunca inferior. Es importante que este conducto presente
la menor cantidad de estrangulamientos posibles (codos, empalmes a T, reducciones,
etc.) Cada junta del conducto de aspiración debe estar adecuadamente aislada
con cinta de teflon o algún producto similar para évitar pérdidas o aspiración de
aire (cavitación).
Es indispensable un filtro para retener las impurezas.
4. El conducto de envío debe ser capaz de resistir las presiones de trabajo de la
bomba. Los tramos demasiado estrechos pueden provocar pérdidas de presión
de la lanza.
5. COMO PREVENCIÓN DE ACCIDENTES FISICOS Y MATERIALES ES INDISPENSABLE
INSTALAR UNA VÁLVULA DE REGULACIÓN Y DE SEGURIDAD PARA EVITAR QUE
LA PRESIÓN PUEDA SUPERAR ACCIDENTALMENTE EL VALOR DE TRABAJO .
PARA LA ELECCIÓN DE ESTAS VÁLVULAS CONSULTEN A SU DISTRIBUDOR.
6. Para el acoplamiento directo con motor eléctrico, es aconsejable el uso de una
junta elástica adeguada. En la transmisión con poleas, hay que comprobar el
alineamiento de las mismas y una adecuada protección de seguridad.
7. Antes de la puesta en marcha, comprobar el nivel de aceite. Se aconseja efectuar
el primer cambio de aceite antes que se cumplan las prímeras 25 horas de
funcionamiento. Los sucesivos cambios de aceite se deben realizar cada 300 horas
y con más frecuencia en casos de empleo excesivo.
8. Una vez puesta en marcha favorezcan el cebado teniendo abierto en envío.
Después de su uso eviten que la bomba funcione en seco, esto puede causar un
desgaste prematuro de los collarines, con la consiguiente anulación de la garantía.
9. Después del uso de la bomba con productos químicos hagan funcionar la bomba
con agua limpia durante algunos minutos. No exponerla a temperaturas demasiado
bajas. Para evitar la formación de hielo hay que hacer funcionar la bomba en
seco por aprosimadamente unos 20 segundos para vaciar los tubos.
ADVERTENCIA: EN CASO DE NO CUMPLIMIENTO DE ESTAS CONDICIONES DE
FUNCIONAMIENTO SE CONSIDERA ANULADA LA GARANTÍA.
GARANTÍA LIMITADA
Los productos HAWK están garantizados por LEUCO S.p.A. contra defectos de
fabricación y del material por el período de un (1) año a partir de la fecha de salida
de nuestro establecimiento. Esta garantía está limitada a la reparación o sustitución
de las piezas y de los productos que a juicio de LEUCO S.p.A. sean considerados
defectuosos a partir del momento de la entrega. Todos los productos sujetos a esta
garantía limitada serán devueltos flete pagado para inspección, reparación o
sustitución de estas piezas por parte del fabricante.
La garantía limitada aquí establecida es la única válida frente a cualquier otra
garantía, explícita o implícita, incluso todas aquellas garantías de comerciabilidad
o idoneidad para objetivos particulares, tales garantías, con la presente declaración
son rechazadas y excluídas por el constructor.
Las reparaciones o las sustituciones de productos defectuosos se realizan con la
única y exclusiva modalidad expuesta a continuación, LEUCO S.p.A. no se hace
responsable de posibles pérdidas posteriores incluídos daños accidentales o indirectos,

El empleo no autorizado de piezas de repuesto no producidas originariamente por
LEUCO S.p.A. excluye automáticamente la garantía que está sojeta a las instrucciones
