The element that characterizes the Indra family is its head: an
optical device that optimally serves functional requirements and
enhances a variety of performances.
Two specular silhouettes made from 3cm thin sheets of aluminum
contain two LED sources whilst their respective optical units
originate two separate and independent light emissions. All the
components are left visible.
The shape of the head has a soft, rounded profile that encloses
the optical components and the fastening system. It stretches
towards the stem to accommodate the joint and create with it a
thermal bridge that helps to ensure proper dissipation of power
used.
The elements are reduced to a minimum, yet optimum optical
and mechanical functioning is ensured. They enliven the profile
with a subtle touch of light.
The head is designed to adapt to different versions in which the
powers of the direct and indirect emissions are used according
to need, but thanks to the ball joint at the base of the head,
the user is free to choose how to direct the flow reversing the
proportions between the two emissions with a simple twist.
The main reflector determines a 24° emission angle and can
be provided with two diffusers that can reach two openings:
average (30 °) or wide (56 °).
The stem has important functional prerogatives for all versions
and it also adds style owing it to its elegant design.
Indra is therefore a family designed to meet both ambient and
operating light requirements. It is perfect for small spaces
where it can by itself satisfy the different needs of the user.

L’elemento che caratterizza la famiglia Indra è la sua testa, una
macchina ottica trasversale nelle applicazioni e flessibile nelle
performance.
Due sagome speculari ricavate da una sottile lastra di alluminio
racchiudono due sorgenti led e i rispettivi gruppi ottici per dar
vita a due emissioni distinte ed indipendenti .
Il tutto in soli tre centimetri di spessore dove le componenti sono
lasciate a vista.
La sagoma della testa ha un profilo morbido e arrotondato
calibrato per racchiudere componenti ottiche e sistema di
fissaggio. Si protende verso lo stelo per accogliere lo snodo e
creare con questo un ponte termico che aiuta a garantire una
corretta dissipazione delle potenze impiegate.
Gli elementi sono ridotti al minimo necessario al funzionamento
ottico e meccanico, acquistano una loro espressività animandosi
con una leggera presenza di luce che rende vivo il profilo.
La testa è pensata per supportare differenti performance
luminose: le potenze delle due emissioni diretta e indiretta sono
declinate diversamente ma, grazie allo snodo sferico alla base
della testa, l’utente è libero di scegliere secondo le proprie
esigenze come direzionare i flussi invertendo le proporzioni tra
le due emissioni con una semplice rotazione.
Il riflettore di base determina un angolo di 24° che grazie
all’aggiunta di diffusori può raggiungere un’apertura media (30°)
o ampia (56°).
Lo stelo diventa elemento caratterizzante non solo per la versione
da lettura ma anche per quelle da soffitto e parete: introduce
nello spazio il motore luminoso, assumendo così anche un valore
grafico e percettivo.
Indra è quindi una famiglia pensata per soddisfare al tempo
stesso esigenze di luce operativa e d’ambiente, perfetta per
piccoli spazi in cui può da sola risolvere le differenti esigenze.
