ATIBOX WORLD WINNER EXHIBITION 2./3.06.2007
The big ATIBOX family met on
this weekend not only to the
world exhibition, but also for
general meeting along elections
in Novi Sad.
The Serbian university city of Novi
Sad is the capital of the autonomous
province Vojvodine. Situated on the
Danube, this town has over 300 000
inhabitants and is thus second after
Belgrade. Founded in 1694, after the
Hapsbourg conquest of the country,
the center of Novi Sad has been built
in baroque style.
On the opposite Danube bank is
situated the fortress Petrovaradin
that has been an important defence
of the city during several centuries.
The university, founded in 1960, has
now nearly 40 000 students.
During the Kosovo war in 1999, the
town became a target of NATO airraids that destroyed also all bridges
over the Danube, and during the
following 6 years the traffic passed
over a pontoon bridge. In 2005, the
Liberty Bridge has been opened,
which again allows a normal road
and ship traffic.
The big ATIBOX family came not only
together for the annual ATIBOX dogshow, but also held , on June 1st, the
General Assembly , with elections.
The Assembly decided to modify the
Convention in order to enable the
enlargement of the Committee by
two assessors.

Assembly will be sent to the member
countries.The Show took place in the
vicinity of a stud that offered, in former
farm buildings and stables, guestrooms in a very romantic environment.
The registration of more than 540 dogs
from 26 nations shows the high importance of this dog- show in the Boxer
world.
The infrastructure was extremely well
organized : large-scale rings, sufficient
parkings and appreciable catering . A
great number of colourful pavilion tents
protected against sun and rain. Dr.
Milos Lucic's crew offered us in every
respect a brilliantly organzied show.
The staff at the information desk was
well trained and was able to provide
informations in several languages. The
ring announcements, too, were given
in several languages, thus enabling
everbody to be in the right spot at the
right time. Digital screens permitted to
call the participants and to give
informations.
We express our cordial thanks to Dr.
Milos Lucic and his many assistants for
the perfect organization of this show.
We have very much appreciated this
weekend in Serbia, with much sun and
heat.
