With upgrade awards
Want to fly in a higher class? No problem with our upgrade offer. You can, for example, book Economy Class and fly in
Business Class – available within Europe from a starting price of only 10,000 award miles. The number of miles stated
applies to a one-way flight – you will need to double the amount of miles for a return journey.
Star Alliance upgrade awards with
1) Not a Star Alliance member;
the lower figures apply.
2) ​No upgrades to Suite Class are
possible on Airbus A380 flights.

conjunction with special offers.

Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan,
Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria

Economy booking classes Y
and B. (With SK and SQ
upgrades are also possible from
booking class S, with NH and
NZ also from class E and with
NZ classes O and U as well).
7) If a First Class is available,
upgrades are also possible from
Business booking classes C
and D with these airlines (and
from classes J and Z as well
with NH and SQ). On Turkish
Airlines an upgrade to First
Class is only possible on
intercontinental flights.
8) Upgrades are also possible
from Economy Class (M) to
Business Class for 10,000
award miles on routes within
Europe on JP, LH, LO, LX, OS
and SN.
An upgrade award applies only
to one route leg or one ticket
coupon. Several route legs/
coupons require several times
the mileage.
