« The Duomo of Monza »
The Cathedral of Monza contains the iron crown of
Lombardy, supposed to contain a nail from the
Crucifixion. It was built between the thirteenth and
fifteenth centuries. The facade of black and white
marble was built in the fourteenth century.

The « Villa Reale »
History
• This historic villa is located in Monza,
northern Italy.
• It was built by Giuseppe Piermarini when
Lombardy was Austrian territory.
• The Royal family left the Royal House in 1900
after the murder of King Umberto.
• Now, nobody lives in the villa.

Como - Bellagio
• Once in Como, you can visit the town before going
to the ferry landing station, and in a few minutes
board the boat to Bellagio (the boat leaves from
Como at 9:20, 10:00, 10:30 12:00 am and 2:10 pm)

promontory where Lake Como separates into two
branches.

• “Villa Carlotta” is one of Lake Como's most
visited villas covering a site of over 70,000
