Kick-off meeting held in Paris on Dec, 18, 2003
(agenda) and attended by 16 people.
Participation of “decision makers” from Astrophysics,
Chemistry, and Earth Observation communities.
Declarations of interest also from Digital Library
Projects (GRACE, Diligent). Meeting with GRACE
“tech” people on Jan, 15 at CERN done. GRACE
about to enter INFN Grid Production Testbed
Generic Applications questionnaire created and
distributed. Some answers already back
Next meeting at the EGEE conference in Cork (April,
19-22)

Discussions started in Heidelberg and an
informative document has already been written and
sent to the PEB
Plans to (re-)build GENIUS on top of GAT APIs and
CLI, in the context of ARDA (at least) for Generic
Applications’ interfaces
Interface GENIUS with TRIANA (first meeting in
February; next “hands-on” on April, 13-16)
First GENIUS+TRIANA prototype demonstrated at
the GridLab review in Berlin on March, 8.
