The University
• The University of Eastern Piedmont
“Amedeo Avogadro” was established
as an autonomous institution in 1998
and, after its first five years of life, it
has taken its rightful place as a
scientific and cultural hub among
Italian universities.
The Mission
• The aim of this small but promising
university is ambitious, yet quite
feasible.
• Its strength lies in the particularly
favorable teacher-student relations
which allows students to be taken care
of, step by step, throughout their
academic career.
• Credit is due to the university for
having made an attentive analysis of
the novelties ushered by the University
Reform.
What We Offer
• The educational offer spans the full
range of branches of knowledge and
is organized into a wide series of
activities.
• There are basic and characterizing
courses, integrating practices,
laboratories, apprenticeships,
training periods and international
exchanges.
The facilities
• The Rectorate and the Faculties all have a
broad range of facilities and services to
improve the quality of students’ lives and to
assist them before, during and after the
university years.
• This includes IT-laboratories, well-stocked
libraries, special financing for cultural
activities and sport, counseling and prizes
to meritorious students.
• Above all, the centers of studies are
situated in towns whose tranquil, homely
atmosphere helps students to
harmoniously enter university life.
